When Brooks and Vito were the same weight 😮
I wonder if anybody that was there that day realized they were watching 8 national titles 10 finals appearances a world title and Olympians
No, and those were two separate matches.
Obviously, we don't know what titles will later be bestowed on men.
@@philipj.sherman2987Lol are you serious 🤣🤣🤣
@@cimino_smith Are you?
Did you watch the matches?
I did.
What’s the matter with you?
@philipj.sherman2987 Listen bud, you just went from captin obvious to Dr. Strange real quick.. I think you might want to take a step back from the keyboard
@@cimino_smith yea I just was gonna ignore him he’s a weirdo if he doesn’t understand what I’m saying
Neal Richards was such a great wrestler
What happened to him in College?
@@philipj.sherman2987 not quite sure sometimes things just don’t pan out but man was he a beast and a VA legend
Lok no way I will say people knew these kids had potential but not like that
The guy who beat Sasso didn't even wrestle in college, according to Wrestlestat. I guess he had enough wrestling, hehe.
he wrestled for penn in college not penn state tho
@@jdog299 He may have been in Penn's room, but he never wrestled a match in college according to Wrestlestat.
@genghiskhan7041 he wrestled a couple IBTs his freshman year in college. I wrestled on the same team as him in high school, he was unbelievably talented, just one of those kids that was just better. He hated wrestling tho. Once he got his scholarship he stopped showing up to practice and only wrestled tournaments and duals to keep it. From my understanding his dad made him wrestle from a very young age and he was just burnt.
@@frankmessina1196 Yeah, guys like that come along from time to time. There was a kid at Oklahoma State that finished 4th his true freshman year back in the 90s. Once he got an academic scholarship he immediately quit the wrestling team and never wrestled again. It's called "HEW" or "Had Enough Wrestling".
@genghiskhan7041 yeah it's a shame but you can't force someone to do something they don't like. I had a lot of friends in high school whose parents tried to relive their wrestling career through their kid and it almost never works out. Those kids almost always HEW despite being super talented lol.
