- Tina Arena got a bit to fast dismissed by me after hearing Matt Corbys version of her Chains. I have now decided to dig a little deeper into Tinas performances. If you have any suggestions then please leave them in the commentary section. She was brilliant and i want to hear more!!đ

This is not a version of the song. This is her song. Anyone other cover by any other artist is a version. She's hands down my favourite female voice
Can't forget that this was live. She killed it
And she killed it with a totally non responsive audience. Believe me, that makes a difference!
@@GaryNoone-jz3mq Absolutely agree!! đđœ
Tina is an Australian national treasure who has been entertaining us since she was 7yrs old and has been a professional singer from age 9 . Matt Corby does a great version of this song but its her song and she is the best . Celine Dion is in that audience and apparently was blown away by this performance . Tina has a huge playlist so please react to another song you can't go wrong .
Tina wrote it and Tina has never been topped!
She is a legend in australia and a great celebrity in France. And she still performs today amazingly: you should check her perf in the 2020 concert to fight fires in Australia.
She does the best female version of this song and Matt Corby best male version lol. Tina is amazing and started her music career in Australia at such a young age and is still killing it till now
One of the most powerful songs about domestic violence. Heart wrenching and true to the depth of how it feels.
Totally agree Tina has mentioned the late Chrissy Amphylett lead singer of Divinyls as a strong true to soul person/singer These kind of women gravitate to each other in support of freedom to be! czcams.com/video/qFvwYyqWc7s/video.html
yes this poignant song hits those who know it all to well
She can sing anything đâ€ïžđŠđș
Canât go Wrong with Tina , Ever đđđđ¶still killing it today â€
They were a pack of stun mullets the lot of them.. bloody rude! She a powerhouse singer and she sung live.. she 54 and still is bloody amazing đđŠđș
What you just said!!! đ
ha - exact term i used 4 months later - crowd should all give themselves uppercuts ffs
she had the audience rocking out I've never seen such an pumped crowd ....of f..king stiffs
Aussie icon Tina Arena. She's friends with Celine Dion. Tina is fluent in Italian and French she sings beautifully in different languages.
I recommended this!!! I'm so appreciative that you reacted to this. Shes so good! This was exactly the reaction I expected đ„đ„đ„
My first crush and she still is
Celine gave her all the validation she needed, she might as well have performed in a morgue lol. An aussie Diva, love her.
You're by far my favourite reactor
What can I say to that? Just a big thank you and I'll send over a huge Buddy hug as well!!
Hi Didy , looks like youâve discovered the Aussie female singers. Every bit as good as the men. đ€đ€ You said you like the 90âs pop / rock music so maybe if you get a chance check out a group called â Baby Animals â with lead singer Susie De Marching and a song called Backbone , I thing youâll be impressed. Another already mentioned is Vanessa Amorosi , her song âHeroâs last forever â at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney will blow your mind and now she has turned to singing blues , check out her version of a song called âNatural Women â . đ€đ€
Cheers Mate keep up the good work.đ
The audience was dead. Did her no justice đ
She wasn't looking for justice she was doing it for anyone that could relate Watch some of her interviews recent Steve Terry on youtime
Loved her original version of this song
Tina is a real powerhouse. As this video shows, she can't dance to save her life (đ€Ł) but her vocals more than make up for it. This was a dead crowd though.
G'day mate. Your G'days are sounding pretty good these days. Yeah when I heard your reaction to Matt's version I knew the Tina fans would be rioting in the streets, her being a co-writer of the song. But you did the right thing, they're both great...and you're going great, too.
If Tina was a co-writer to the song Chains then I figure she'd be singing from her soul. She's been through some tough experiences particularly around the time of her appearance at the music awards.A great interview by Steve Terry on youtime
Very honest reactions. Love the content đ„
Appreciate that
Now you know what I meant by describing Tina Arena as a "pocket rocket". She was known, when younger, as "Tiny Tina". Here, the audience was stunned by her talent. Her training, as a child, on the weekly TV program "Young Talent Time", encouraged the versatility in her singing which she does have. Also, you are not "hurting" we Aussies by your preferences.
Where is she now, the beautiful voice
Still around and still amazing
Not released in the 90s. Originally she released it in the 1970s.
Another great Aussie female artist is âŠ. Vanessa Amorosi singing Natural Woman
and Karise Eden singing Stay
Tina does indeed have a powerful expressive voice. I like the CZcams video of her 2011 performance of
the 1968 song, "Les moulins de mon cĆur/The Windmills of Your Mind," in an acoustic Jazz/Pop mix.
She sang it live on the French TV show "Chabada." Her talent is easy to see & hear...and I like the song :-)
The video is at czcams.com/video/oaYkzipUVvg/video.html
NICE.....
Very nice
Have a look at 16 years
Please react to Vera Blue - Hold (Live At The Wireless) She is another great Aussie singer.
Hi really enjoying your channel. The music you like is right up my street.Have you done any Ed Sheeran, try Wayfaring Stranger Live.Make sure it's the live version.Blew my mind. X
Not yet!
@@didymalgia something else to look forward to. Ed is my favourite Non Aussie lol
I've always loved this song.... but it's my only fav song of hers
I felt so sorry for her, apart from Celine Deon everybody just sat there like statues. Tina wrote this song too. I am sure she was trying so hard make them move ... Here is one video which should give you a little insight into how loved she was/is 'That's the way a Woman feels' czcams.com/video/wgAyVC7x1ds/video.html
Nah! She was giving it to them whether they liked her or not She is a powerhouse of a woman.Watch some of her interviews there was no interest in US music industry
Thank you for playing Tina although not my favourite version as the crowd was terrible. (Celine Dion was in there too). I wish you had played the ARIA version from a few years ago đ
But donât expect her to sing it too differently as she is a power singer and very feisty and outspoken she says what she thinks and bad luck if you donât like it and sings the same way. Yes Tina can sing anything. For example check her out doing Back in Black cover at the New Years Eve 2021 concert in Sydney.

Did you see all the stuffed shirts in the audience? I hope she walked off stage and sacked her whole management team. They should never work again.
Tina still played on in spite of their reaction. A master performer.
Thank you Didy! Iâm not a fan of Tina Arena but I appreciate sheâs very talented. I do love Matt Corby, just much more my style of music. Also Itâs ANZAC day today donât forget my request!
Again, not a 90s song. The reason she was singing at the world music awards was she is considered a diva.
what a boring audience
As an Aussie I feel Im allowed to say that Tina doesnât touch my soul or capture my imagination. Sure, sheâs technically very good but I donât feel like she has a great voice like Vanessa Amorosi or Judy Durham for example. đ€·ââïž
