Cool to "Pick" up for "Picking" locks while in Peru. Looks well made (excepting design flaw). Wonder if actually made in Peru? Great explanation & gutting. I picked up similar type door lock while in Mexico, but made in Spain; a Tover S2 Texturado "Cerradura De Seguridad" -- 10 pin dimple in 2 opposing slightly offset rows of 5 with profile pins on bottom. Also some OK padlocks under Phillips brand, part of ASSA Abloy group. Nice to see you putting that mini screwdriver I sent you to work.
I love the box slogan "Vive Tranquilo" -- Live peacefully, or live tranquilly (that is with a "high security" lock made by Cantol, I assume; i.e., "no worries")

You might be able to get the screw out with an easy out or some other type broken screw extractor. Both are awesome locks. Picking as well bud👍
Yeah, I've got an extractor set, but figured I didn't need to mutilate it if I didn't absolutely need to gut that assembly.
@@CorrectJeans it shouldn't mess it up at all if you do it right. The screw should just screw out and you can find another one to replace it.
