    Imagine Leo retaining his j.236H in Strive as well as the 3 special move gattling. God I miss playing Leo in xrd

    Incredible spacing by both of them.

    If Leo was broken you would see other Leos win in Japan all the time. GG is as close to flawless balance as you can get with a fighting game, specially considering how diverse the abilities of the cast are.

    Final score:
    Haaken 15 - 14 Tomo
    Good job, Haaken! And special thanks to amkkma for the correction.

    • @amkkma
      @amkkma Před 6 lety +3

      It's actually not, you probably just counted by their total wins card from the start to the end of the video.
      But a few of those wins were probably from other players in between because sometimes it just jumps the win score, like Tomo win 1 and in the next match it show 2 already, it happens a few times.
      If you count match by match Haaken won 15 - 14.

    34:01 would the outcome be different if its not bursted?or was the invul frames covered perfectly and fist struke in while tomo drop back to ground?

    • @127fenix
      @127fenix Před 6 lety

      Tyrant rave has startup invul by default, but that that burst would usually still hit. It might have something to do with the timing that he let it rip.

    Haaken is that dude who absolutely dominates but don't compete professionally.

      Not exactly. He does compete, hell he won Arc Revo back in 2012, but I don't think he goes to major tournaments. He definitely goes to locals at least though.

      +amkkma goes without saying.

    • @amkkma
      @amkkma Před 6 lety +3

      Just saying this because it implies its both characters fault, when in reality what you see is what Leo always do.
      Tomo push every button he wants at any given time, 5 overheads in a row, doesnt matter, it still works out, while Haaken has to be very picky on when he push a button, and what button.
      There's plenty of times in this set you see Tomo just going crazy for like 5 plus seconds and Haaken doing nothing and then he finally do something just to get hit anyway.

    • @DavidFlores-jn1yg
      @DavidFlores-jn1yg Před 6 lety +7

      We are not watching the same mu then. Also way to just say it's only the characters and not the players.

    Only got to 44 minutes before calling it.
    Let's see here. His normals beat sol's normals. He does more damage than Sol doing simplistic, normal combos. He has very little gaps in his pressure. His ground throw range is better than sols. His air throw range is better than Sol's. Only Leo's high hit count combos require preparation and setup. Leo doesn't have to worry about dropping his combos much.
    Sol's combos require setups and have strict timing on them. He can easily drop them. He can't get close in this match because Leo's whiffing attacks like a mad man and there's nothing Sol can do about it. Sol has nothing that forces Leo to play by his rules. Leo has everything to force Sol to play by his rules.
    Sol gets nerfs - despite said mention that he doesn't have anything that forces you to play by his rules.
    Leo gets buffs, despite doing more damage than Sol in every game he's been in since, and in the case of every other character, does have tools that force them to play by his rules. (Yes I'm aware leo sucked before, and no, I don't know what the tiers are right now for this game)
    Tell me why I can't have my scrubby Sol gameplay back and why I shouldn't drop him for Leo, since a lot of what I see in him is what I'd love to see put in Sol?

    • @pepsiofnazareth9348
      @pepsiofnazareth9348 Před 6 lety +7

      SolBadguyZAC no. Just no. The only reason leo won. Is becuase tomo is better
      Stop it

    • @SolBadguyZAC
      @SolBadguyZAC Před 6 lety

      HA GETIT no. Just no. I'm so sick of this better player argument bullshit. People don't seem to realize that if victory is always attributed to the fuckin player, then bad matchups and character advantages and tiers cease to exist.
      You can clearly see how often Leo whiffs attacks here, how often he drops his combos (not much), how much easier it is for him to get in on Sol, how easy it is for him to shut down Sol's offense, how easy it is to break Sol's defense, how much more damage he does than Sol, how easy it is for him to get said damage on Sol from a normal combo, do I need to say anymore?
      Hopefully you're not one of those scrubby fucks who looks at Sol, think "broken", and therefore any losses he incurs is deserved ones. Granted there were things that Haaken wasn't doing, there still seems to be a fair amount of good reason for him not to.
      Stop it

    • @amkkma
      @amkkma Před 6 lety +1

      HA GETIT What makes you think Tomo is better than Haaken?

    • @amkkma
      @amkkma Před 6 lety

      HA GETIT And I think you didn't even watch everything, cause Haaken actually won more matches.

    • @davidhale991
      @davidhale991 Před 6 lety +2

      Sol's buttons and neutral are much better than Leo's. Also, his command throw is far better than any move Leo has to open people up. Leo is not better than Sol imo, it boils down to playstyle.
