African governments and their total lack of responsibility is just staggering. Few weeks ago we saw similar gas explosion from illegal miners in Ibadan, Nigeria resulting in several deaths.. Till now no arrests has been made..
To be government employee in kenya is like winning lottery, especially in those strategical positions of influence. corruption is national shame
RIP to those lost in this tragedy. God give those who lost someone the fortitude to bear the loss. And may those who got injured or lost properties the courage & help to carry on.🙏🙏🙏
Two monsters affecting Kenya (1)corruption (2)impunity
Those things are everywhere.....no place lacks corruption .....actually what you call corruption is the lack of self awareness.... people knew about it but didn't care.... sometimes you people behave like someone will come and live your life. You need to be self aware of everything going on around you
I live around the area. LPG gas explosion. 222 injured 4 dead.
That click-bait is immature from a station like BBC, it`s clear it was a gas leak, and explicitly this was explained.
This was a sad day for Kenya
Africa is suffering 💔 yesterday president of Somalia afford Italy to recolonize Somalia and establish plantations and genocides in Congo Sudan our continent is suffering we Africans need to start protesting like the Arabs and westerners are doing for Palestine free afruca ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
We have lots of Somalians that showed up at our open border and came in. Now I know why. Every since the US Battle in Somalia and the movie black hawk down Americans are hesitate of Somalians but honestly that would be a true legit asylum seeker here. Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. I say screw the white man coming into Africa, those are your resources to sell to the world.
Prayers sent for all in the region
Fake news
Had to switch my account back to personal account then go and replace the sound. Restored my original audio
Maybe not store it above ground at least if it's gonna be illegal anyway
Oh no, thats terrible. Hope you get some answers.
RIP to souls lost here but we shouldn't be building gas station near our premises for the safety of all
RIP to souls lost here instead of wasting your time and your comment how about you go tell that to the person who's in charge of city planning or whatever
@@itsTheTruthTeller I'm I the federal government or are you tryna say shit
@@nwankwomiracle4694 you are the federal government? 😂
And they want to build nuclear power stations?? ...what a disaster waiting to happen. Hahahahahah
Your negativity will not let you see the light......accidents happen everywhere........not unless you live in heaven
Yes, accidents happen everywhere but accountability doesn't happen in Kenya, especially when it's the government at fault.
Kumbuka how they couldn't tell us whether El nino inakuja ama haikuji, imagine what will happen when things go wrong in a nuclear power plant.
Wewe wacha
@@AmazingMania Accountability is always an issue. Also we lack institutional systems that dictate high standards of services and so people do whatever comes to mind haphazardly. Now I hear they will be introducing digital ID? Is it the government's idea or are they being told what to do by the mzungus ....because your gvt is in debt and is under the control of its foreign donors? Rather than attack me, you need to be encouraging your gvt to make better decisions for its people.
It is not a veiled attack on the dear ordained government you support but an institution. The Energy Act sets out specifics where and how gas and other flammable materials should be stored. Someone slept on their job at EPRA and city county government. Yes, accidents happen and that is why Energy Act gives prescriptions on how such flammable materials should be stored to reduce casualties in the event of an accident like this one. Let me tell you Maina,....
@@williamomondi5800 Great response.
