8:13 I'm just going to rant about Takemichi's age real quick. So I have had multiple theories about his age, and after reading the wiki, it claims that after Takemichi travels back to the future, his past self proceeds with life as normal. Now, with this knowledge, I am going to assume that while they are the same person, their mind or consciousness in the past changes back to "normal" after Takemichi travels back to the future. With this in mind, every time Takemichi leaps into the future, he travels 12 years (specifically) into the future. So my question is, after each time leap into the future, does he age 12 years? Because, assuming he began timetraveling at the age of 26, each time leap would add 12 years to his consciousness. So I believe he has timeleaped roughly 19 (not quite sure, maybe more) times. If we did the simple math, 26 + (19 x 12) Takemichi would be about 254 years old. My second, and more plausible, theory is that he ages in proportion to the amount of time he spends in the past. This would make it a bit more complex. Takemichi would obviously be more than 26 years old, but then you would have to painfully count every single time he timeleaped into the past and how long he spent there. I will do it for the sake of knowledge. After counting for a while, this theory would mean that Takemichi has spent over a year timeleaping, meaning he is 27 years old if you include the timeleaping. However, Wakui Ken decided to just have fun with his timetravelling mechanics, and now all of a sudden, Takemichi can timeleap 10 years into the past... not 12. Yet, to whoever is reading this, I would like to applaud you for managing to finish reading my jumbled up, no good rant. I have wasted more than an hour on this and a couple minutes of your life.

@@_idontexist7427 I am aware of this point, but with Wakui Ken changing up Takemichi's time-traveling mechanics... I wouldn't be surprised if something random or traumatizing occurred to him that managed to cause him to remember. (But this is just a silly theory.) As for Takemichi remembering his past, in the anime it is shown that he couldn't even remember what Hina looked like, and could only remember details from when he graduated from middle school (if my memory serves me right). Due to this, I would theorize that in the original timeline before he time-leaped, Takemichi had an incident that gave him retrograde amnesia (Assumingly around middle school). Basically, an incident when someone loses past memories but can slowly regain them and make more. I could brush this off as him getting old and losing memories, but this would be incorrect from a scientific standpoint. This can be backed up by the fact that the earliest a person can "naturally" lose their memory is at age 45.
btw the wiki about his "past" self proceeding as it is is a fact. we can see that in the one episode where takemichi wakes up w emma on top of him because the past takemichi is trying to cheat on hina w emma. And as u can see takemichi is completly confused as he can only remember amd control things in the timeline he was in, everything that happens after that is out of his control.
