- Questioning became contentious between Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) and Attorney General Jeff Sessions at his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 13.
In case people forgot she was a *prosecutor* before this. Attorneys are NOT about to play around with each other *knowing* the other *should* know better, especially a seasoned attorney would know to prepare. He was blatant with his inability to recall & meanwhile she was laying down things for the record that can possibly be used later & the beautiful part is- *he knows it*. Should've just answered the questions if it's all a "hoax" bcuz NOTHING shuts down a "hoax" like the truth.... *IF* you're innocent.

Nothing happened, but I don't remember. I won't give any details, not even in a closed session of congress, because the president didn't tell me not to...yet...or maybe he did, but that's privileged information. I can't elaborate, but I don't recall anything anyway. I could clear all this up, but I won't. And I don't recall.

With the recent attack from "the administration" on Kamala Harris. I just had to watch that again. For a good laugh. Too funny to see Session, supposedly a top prosecutor, panicking when rushed with questions. Only trying to buy time and evade. The bad part is she is stopped and blamed for doing her job and not letting him go on forever.

It seems to me that he is effectively filibustering by drawing out most answers as long as he possibly can. It seems that this is the primary reason Senator Harris was getting frustrated.

I did not find Attorney General Sessions' comments in the session to be all that enlightening or convincing, especially how he tried to explain how he participated in the Comey firing, despite recusing himself from the Russian investigation, considering the fact that Comey was in charge of the investigation, as well as Sessions' public change of heart about whether Comey acted properly in the Clinton investigation and his refusal to answer questions while at the same time NOT invoking executive privilege to justify his non-responsiveness to questions.
