My daughter lives in San Diego and said this is the news around town. So they go after Yoga people but don't do crap about the homeless populations. What a joke our government has become.
In 1870 Germany shipped all their homeless to America.
Let me inform you, this ain’t something new! You also can’t teach surf classes as well! You have to have a permit, there was this kid who sat on the board walk with a sign advertising one on one lessons. You know what happened to him, fined every time, and run off da beach. The surf schools pay big money to get their permits and the city has their hand deep in some pockets. It’s all about control and taxing you till you can’t even stand! They’ll even find out if you’re bringing down a student to teach surf from you parked car or house like a mile away, cuz they got people monitoring social media, Craigslist, everything!

If you take your family to the beach and all these people doing yoga. it wouldn't bother you a little. Clearly, it's organized. I do yoga, and I work out 5 or more days a week. But where is the consideration for others? People just want to complain because it's California.

I worked for the government for many years. Occasionally you would get politicians making absurd rules/laws/demands and sometime you just have to say no. The park rangers have the ability to simply not enforce the yoga ban and that is probably how it should have been handled.
