One of my favourite songs, I can't stop listening to it! Full of contrasts between power and harmony, electric and classical instruments, deep feelings and technical mastery, different rithms and instruments that fit perfectly.

I'm 78 and I've seen this girl for the first time on the TV Show 'Sing my Song', whenever I see her and listen to her voice, I got some tears. Great voice, great band. Will see BTB live next month.

I'm 63 and began my European bands discovery tour about 6 years ago. Much like the millions before me, I stumbled upon the international monster, GHOST LOVE SCORE by Nightwish.
My God she has such a voice, I really can't get enough of her.
She is one of those singers that just has it all

I just discovered this band 2 days ago (thank you CZcams!) and I am totally obsessed with them now. Jennifer has an incredible voice which has a fantastic combination of beauty and power. They have definitely gained a new fan here!!!
Discovered them a while ago too and am completely obsessed as well. Bought a ticket to see them live together with Amaranthe next year 😀 this will be the best concert ever!

I just keep coming back to this song (and this version), again and again. It's just an excellent blend between symphonic/power metal with extended rock ballad elements. Both guitar solos (electric and acoustic) are well played, the pace changes are nice, and above it all Jennifer Haben's voice at its best. Perfect!

The band has all the factors of a perfect band, they just need a bit of time to get known, but really the are so much better than many of the more popular bands

This is literally the best thing she's done so far with band members of the highest quality. It's a beautiful arrangement with some technical wizardry, particularly that acoustic and electric guitar work from Chris.

unbelievable how addictive this song can be, you keep coming back hearing Jennifer at her best! :) what a performance, flawless.
Proof that rock doesn't have to have screaming unintelligible vocals to go hard and blistering speed technical solos to be incredible.
The thing I love about this, aside from the incredible music, is how happy the singer looks. She looks like she's actually having a good time
I am so mad that was so late to this band. Fell in love with them when they covered to hell and back. Been fan of Sabaton for years. Beyond the Black has found it's way into every playlist I have. Missed so many years of awesome.

The way the drums come back in at 0:55. This is how to arrange for drums in a Metal Balad which is what this is - i.m.o - one of the best ever written in the genre.
Cris's acoustic and the gentle synth coming in at 1:22
The change of gear at 1:32 and the extra passion in Jennifer's voice and sensational drumming
The beautiful cut back at 2:09 where it all drifts off into space. Drums stop (yes they can you know)

The unexpected key change at 3:44 and gorgeous yearning tone in Jennifer's voice to fit the lyrics. Dazzling. She is a vocal genius that woman.
Drums coming back in again for third or fourth time at 4:28. Strict disciplinarian this guy. Few Drummers (even good ones) know when to shut (t.f.) up and hold back
That wonderful light and airy acoustic guitar solo of Kris's coming in at 4:40, Spanish in flavour like a touch of Rodrigo merging with a BTB song. HA Love it!
And the syncopated acoustic chords Cris ends it on at 4:53

This video broke me. I can’t stop watching it and the song just keeps playing in my head over and over and over. This song has it all as far as I’m concerned; a blistering guitar solo, a beautiful acoustic guitar solo, the best “beauty and the beast” style call and respond, and Jennifer’s joy of singing is palpable. All the musicians get to spread their wings individually, but they come together synergistically. I think this just took over my favorite song spot and I’ve listened to a lot of songs in my 54 years. The crazy thing is that just a couple of months ago I’d never even heard of BTB. Stupid US radio stations...
Don't worry, UK radio stations never play any of this stuff. Such a travesty.
Heard them for the first time in Zurich last week when they appeared with Amaranthe (I went for Amaranthe), and was so incredibly happy my first exposure to this group was live.
