You’ve to be objective about boxing. Jake Paul is a good athlete and if you look at his resume he’s undefeated with some good knockouts. I can’t stand the guy but he is naturally skilled. He’s faster than Jr, has a more lethal power hand and Jr gets hit a lot. With the hydration clause put in place it makes it that much harder of a fight. If Hasim was smart he wouldn’t stand at range. He needs to get after it early and lay on him and grind on him. If he truly has more experience he could possibly take him out later in the rounds if he can gas him due to size advantage.

Jake is the one with the money and he put on the contract for the fight to be at 200lbs. That means Jake is healthy and the other is not and will be way too weak. That’s why there is weight classes and why Jake would not fight a little higher

He is fighting a legit professional boxer, is it a high tier fighter.? No, but this is his hardest fight so far.
@@FulguroGeek exactly if there’s no headgear and it’s sanctioned and there’s a referee it’s a considered a pro fight... if you walk out and get in the ring and there’s bright lights and 20 thousand people you’ve done that no matter who the opponent is, people have nerves... Hasim has never fought with that many people in arena... Jake has twice now. And this will be his third time and almost all his fights had a ton viewers watching. Hasim has not fought or felt that kind of attention and pressure when he’s been in the ring. Jake had had eyes on him for all five of his pro fights.
And he’ll probably Nate Diaz after this and that will be his biggest selling fight to date because Diaz will draw numbers to match Jake.
Then in a year or two he’ll fight Conor and that will sell ridiculous numbers and be a bigger spectacle than Conor vs Mayweather was. And sell near those numbers if not out selling it.
Pro fights a pro fight. And Jake like or not or respect it or not for how’s he’s choosing his opponents in his first pro fights and his come up to becoming an actual high level ranked pro boxer he’s making money and selling fights to big arenas and under the bright lights... he’s definitely got that star factor under the lights and no nerves for fighting in those situations. Many great pro boxers and up and comers get nerves and can’t perform under those situations before they have experienced them. Hasim hasn’t even if his dad has. He doesn’t know and has that added pressure to carry his dad legacy and not fail and lose in MSG. His only real opponent in his pro career was Morrison and he lost, hit the mat and lost by TKO even though I think it was early stoppage too... he was protecting himself well the whole fight and after getting knocked down it seemed inevitable that Morrison would knock him out cold. But the red didn’t let Morrison have the chance to get an clean shot in. Rahim just wasn’t throwing any punches and ducking down and that was enough for the ref after the knock down.
