Long Beach Boat Crash Kills 1 and Injures 6

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: Wednesday, 7-3-24 / Approx. 9:21 pm
LOCATION: Alamitos Bay Jetty
AREA/CITY: Long Beach, CA
DETAILS:
LBPD and LBFD responded to a boat crash into the rocks inside the inlet jetty.
One person was confirmed deceased on scene, and LBFD transported eight patients. One is in critical condition, and two are non-critical.
LBFD and LBPD are investigating this mass casualty incident further.
