When I look at these faces in the photos I see many aspects that make Ukrainians such heroes: hope, strength, resilience, weariness , sorrow and sacrifice ...human...good humans.

These things can all go towards creating a curriculum for schools that includes knowledge of uniquely Ukrainian figures, including of course Lina Kostenko.

There aren't many Americans in Ukraine right now except the Foreign Legion and some volunteers doing humanitarian work. If Russia persists in stupidity and doesn't all refuse to come to Ukraine, though...
