  • In this video, I show you a quick and simple way to make charcoal Briquettes with only Flour, charcoal, and water.
Charcoal briquettes burn at high temperatures, a slow combustion rate, and offer a consistent heat source. Their smoke-free nature adds to their appeal, making them ideal for cooking. And if you're not much of a foodie don't worry because they can also be utilized for water and air purification, as well as enhancing plant soils.

Nice and simple Video Tutorial. What types of flour can be used? After forming, how long does the drying process take?

I’ve used a few different types, mostly wheat but also corn starch, self raising flour and even rice flour once. So long as it has a decent amount of starch (which acts as the binder) it should work well. I dried them for about 2 days before use but that was in hot weather, you can break one in half to see how dry the centre is and obviously the more time the better.
