So that's like 1600$/1700$ worth of mods to make it jump 2 seconds faster in 0-60 and 2 seconds faster on 1/4 mile. Not counting exhaust. As it dosn't do much for HP. Not to shabby. Not at all. I like it! 🤙
@@nvrdwn3140 ok so I got the steeda intercooler and the AFE cold air and I put the Thermal R&D 3" exhaust on. So if I just add the ZFG 93 tune, I could jump my time by 2 seconds? I also have the steeda diff brace. Not installed yet.

The intercooler helps prevent heat soak. Which definitely comes into play in a 1/4 mile run. The ecu will start pulling power. So the intercooler isn’t really adding power, just preventing the ecu from pulling power due to high charge temps. Makes a difference on the top end for sure.
I just bought an st this week. How much louder did the exhaust help the power? i want to keep it as quiet as possible. Does it restrict the power a lot? Ive got to get a tune from ZFG. I would like to do a drop in filter, tune, and whipple.
@@carsonfrankens How loud is your exhaust setup, does it drone at all? Is it neighborhood friendly? Watching your video where you raced the Land Rover, it sounded somewhat tame given it is basically straight piped. Is that just due to poor audio quality? I'd love to get more sound out of my ST but do not want to be obnoxiously loud.
@@dl4414 it’s loud for sure, but honestly one of the better sounding setups I’ve heard in my opinion. Does drone some under light to medium acceleration while getting up to speed, but at cruising speeds, it’s not very loud in the car

@@johngallo7383 idk. Different mods. His tune was e50 I believe. So I wouldn't expect the same power on 93.

The exhaust probably didn’t do a whole lot. You will see more gains with the AFE cold air intake vs a drop in filter
Exhaust really doesn’t do a lot on these. Save your money and get the Whipple intercooler instead…. Unless you like more exhaust noise.
Is it worth it having to test your gas everytime?
I go to the same station and don’t test all the time. Just every now and then to make sure it’s staying consistent. But yes, major difference in power

Do you mind sharing the brand of muffler and resonator? And x pipe for that matter.
Muffler and resonator deletes, x-pipe put in place of resonator, and new tips. It’s just an x-pipe my local muffler shop had. I don’t know the brand
Do you lose any back pressure from deleting the mufflers?
@@myoppinyun idk, if it did it didnt hurt anything. I’m making as much power or maybe even more than most STs with down pipes and full cat backs.
