I like that you were so focussed on the idea Kappameister was sending the hitmen after you, you only realised it wasn't him after you killed him.
Games like these are so interesting, they are both scary and difficult at the same time which is pretty incredible
Demons saw you getting shot all the time and were just like; man, this dude has enough problems.
I ended up coming to this channel because I liked the Welcome to the game and got interested on watching how speedruns for the game would go

Yeah, blackmailing Kappameister sounds like the way to go, since he's supposed to have your old stash from the story... Also the buy/resell thing. Kappameister's doxxing seem to not have a time limit so you could, like, focus less on that. Very cool game though.

Haven't played, but I imagine picking blackmail would allow you to earn some kind of passive income since the guy was running a marketplace site. I think you definitely should be buying the checkers, as you aren't using the combos for anything else
Haven't played, but kinda feel like the Checker is useless as you can get more money more easily and quickly with just Proxy and EasyLeads.

It takes aproximately 35 second to get from 5,000 to 10,000. You could probably set a timer up to beep for that.
The Checker upgrade makes it easier to find your hitmen!

I like how there is an actual reason given for the hitman trying to kill you in this game. In welcome to the game 2 there really wasn't much of a reason for Lucas to be trying to kill you
You don't know the lore then. Though we don't know who made the hit for the protagonist in Welcome to the Game 2, Lucas is a moderator for the antagonist of the series. Apparently he moderates the websites the player goes on. Which this can be backed up by the fact the Hitman becomes active when you find a certain number of keys or whenever word gets out to him by a long period of time (not finding enough keys but enough time passes to get word to him). Given that he's a moderator and a hitman, he likely goes out to kill you to ensure you cannot find what you're looking for. Given that Noir also are hunting the player, which they also work for the antagonist, it makes sense for a head member of the organization to go after the player.
Edit: Also wanted to add. It can be speculated by all this, the antagonist may be who sent out the hit.
Honestly, I would love to see something along the lines of this and/or Welcome to the Game actually marketed as a Roguelike/Roguelite.
This technically is, because the list of websites is random every time you go in, but I want to see one of these games that actually leans into that a bit more.
I enjoy videos on this game, but after the stress of the first was real! feel like a light hearted Phasmo public lobbies is a good buffer between these videos 💜

1:43:17 - I’ve gotta say, the woman in that site’s story, like- people like her are the reason why victims of SA don’t get taken seriously anymore. Sure, the “deal” was pretty gross, but she chose to do it. She wasn’t forced into anything. As someone who’s dealt with SA in the past, it pisses me off to no end that people like that can claim that they want “revenge” or that they’re somehow being victimized. She chose to accept, end of story. Sorry for the rant, just something that i’m so tired of seeing, cuz people like that are the ones ruining society nowadays.

Great run through, would love to see more. 🎉. Question I have not played the game but would improving your easy leads from 48% to higher help you scam more ppl to make more money? This way when you buy the upgrades your doing more? Maybe write it up before you play. Definitely explore buying and selling, after all the break might help his anxiety. I think it said in the light if you look around ever so often it will stop the watched feeling. Finally, instead of taking the list one by one try jumping around, especially after you find some of the main ones. Keep playing, would love to see the end. The NSA credentials seem similar to the name of the guy telling you about the hit men. If he worked there it would make sense why he knows.

I think the only reason the number didn't work late game was because of the plus sign in front of the number. Or maybe the game was really messing with him.
1:39:49 You probably know by now but you were seriously hampering your money gains by extracting too early/more than once at a time. It's an exponential thing, so the higher and faster you get to 10k the more money you get per unit of time. The downside was that you had to manage it more often but when you put in relation to money earned it was worth it.
So when you reached 10k you extracted, but it is not because you're still at 6500 that you should extract again, as your ad would have a greater effect on the 6500 than on the subsequent 4000 users. So you basically make more money faster by advert if you keep extracting only once you hit 10k. The ad runs for the same amount of time but attracted more customers if you kept simply extracting at 10k than extracting twice and going down to 4000

i understand it a little bit, but still confused about how the currency works and how you get the money. the goal of the game is still a question for me, there are hitmen who wants to kill you and you have to get their info so you send a hitman to kill them, but what is the main goal? xD. curious about the new video.
you will see in the video that the main goal is to help Markov hack into the 3 NSA sites. In return Markov is keeping tabs on hitmen being sent to you by your former partner DoxGuru, and letting you know their username so you can counter hit them and hack the 3 sites before the hitmen get you. The money is cryptocurrency, in the form of the EtherCoin, which you can earn by scamming people or by selling items on the black market. I'm assuming blackmailing can also earn you crypto. I dunno anymore because I have only watched the same two videos you have watched, so that is all I managed to understand.
You need to hack the guy who betrayed you, then after this hack those NSA sites all while dealing with hitmans (which you need a lot of informations from a lot of sites), and the more time pass more complicated to find the hitmans information to kill'em will be.
