To me it's very obvious that Rice's best role is at #8. Deep playmaking isnt his best quality and imo the main reason we struggled for the first half of this season. Bruno would be an ideal #6 in our team

Another player that would perfectly fit in his role is Andre from Fluminense. Also a cheaper option. Downside is the lack of experience in the PL, but he’s had a lot of experience in the libertadores and with the Brazilian national team

I would disagree with your point about Ødegaard not being a naturally creative monster. He is always playing immaculate passes that create chances for our attackers, it’s essentially the thing he is known for. Good vid tho

I highly doubt that we will get a striker due to havertz's performance upfront,if partey goes then we get bruno but the most likely signing is a right winger.

Whoever is in the more convenient position at the time, whoever Arteta allocates based on the game, whoever Arteta chooses, Odegaard drops back and they form the double pivot - he adds so much variety!
I honesly dont rate rice as an 8. In the big games he gets absorbed into the whole work rate thing and basically acts like an advanced 6 with a mind for defensive actions.
Also he is stiff and cant play in tight spaces and be creative.
I think rice is an excellent 6. How anyone can see holes in his game there is beyond. He is very safe, robust and defends really well. Limitations in being a deepl playmaker? Who cares...it's minimal!
Bruno for sure is the 8 but its good he can cover for the 6.
@@elarabymohammed1because rice cannot play as a lone 6 for arsenal who must be a dlp like a partey or Jorginho, which is why rice played as an 8 for a lot of the season. If he can add that to his game, then maybe in the future he can. But as of now, Bruno would be the one playing behind him 100% if it comes down to it
Nah, Bruno is too wild. His temper doesn't fit Arsenal football at all, and he would cost too much for not much of an upgrade and would last probably only one contract. Really doubt they would sign him right now.

No, he's not. He reminds me of Xhaka but look at what Arteta did with Xhaka. Arteta teaches his players about discipline on and off the pitch that is why we hardly receive cards in a game. He is perfect for us. If Arteta then it's ok
