Was this video helpful and fun for you guys? What would you like to see next?
If you ever have any input on the online psychology vs in-person that would be so helpful for me! Much love
Could you review hands that we have played and include in these episodes? I think we can learn a lot from that.
These videos are great, and they're great to see what the actual results are. It's nice to see that yes, I'll bust, but that's life and that's how it'll be. It's also good to see the rationale behind "simple" spots that are usually not well analysed in these low stakes tournaments. Thanks a lot for this!
Final table ICM is always a good topic that a lot of people mess up!
I would love to see you playing some spin and go games, or a heads up, just some ideas. Thank you for the content.
Seriously keep it up Lex! This content schedule is going to pay off so well for you on CZcams
Thanks mate!
Another great video! I know we all appreciate the effort and clarity you put into these videos :)
Quality content Lex ! Thanks for the clear insights and useful tips 👌🏻
I've been watching you for years, really enjoy this kind of content specially from you, keep it up !
Simple words, great explanations. All that we need. Keep up with the amazing content. You found a nice formula
omg i needed this so much, it hapens me all the time, i start really goud in torunaments, and i get like 20 or 30 minutes without getting not even 1 decent hand and big blinds make me go from top 10 in chips to top 100 and end up loosing...
Definitely your best idea of a concept ever! I love it!
Watching this is seriously eye-opening! Well-reasoned and easy to follow. Thanks, Lex. Great content!!
Dit zijn top video's! Deze video's zijn erg leerzaam en zorgen ervoor dat het pokeren een stuk serieuzer wil gaan nemen. Ga zo door!
Thank you Lex sir for the explanation for every action you made. This video was very helpful. We need more of this.
This is brilliant, Lex. Thanks bud, much appreciated.
great stuff mate! From the storytelling to explaining what you are doing! just great
Thanks bratan!!
Unmatched poker content in the way you are explaining it so down in "eye height" for fishes like me I can't say this enough you are the CZcams poker king keep it up Lex
Amazing Lex, great indroction to basics of poker, very understandable and different to other videos because you explain the dynamics very well and I love that you do it by going through you actually playing a lowstakes tournament
Lex these are brilliant for us beginners, sometimes I get a bit lost with some streams and clips when they get complicated. Even though I can understand some more advanced principles, EV, GTO etc... It normally does my head in, but this was enjoyable and informative. Keep them up, please.
Will keep this series till the end of time =]
I love the teachings...thanks buds!!
Me when my notification for this video hit: Everyone PIPE DOWN!!! Class is in session!
Few thoughts:
1. Reset the timer on every tournament.
2. Show opponents hands when possible. ex. at 13:55 you didn't show what Domes14 had.
3. 14:05 I think it's the best hand explanation so far. Keep it up! ;-)
Cant do 1 so you’re gonna have to do the math yourself :). Good point on .2
cool... waited all week for part 2... love the new channel content!
love this series
Very, very interesting content. Probably one of the best on youtube on MTT. Thanks a lot!
Again quality video Lex keep them coming
Great tutorial! Lovin your YT content. Really helpful information and tidbits for certain spots and scenarios :)
Great stuff Lex. Been watching you for years. Love your attitude. Extremely informative and well done.
Ok, I came across this series and starting watching. I watched this video Sunday night. Monday I played the $200 Rungood Poker Series tournament at Graton Casino. I was short stacked most of the day. I was down to 5bb at final 5 tables to end up chip leader at final table and chopping 3 handed. This video was running through my mind all day and I was focused on being patient. Thank you!!!
Thank for that video. I realized, what I have to learn now)
Like many have said, this is really great, love the format.
Keep it up, will be watching other in the series/"subseries".
Really like these videos Lex! I feel like these are my favorite videos during the week! Very well explaining your thought process on not only your hand but your opponents calls as well! Ideas about new videos would be how to multi-table efficiantly, playing satellites, playing with bounties in play, playing different table size (i.e. 6-max, 8-max, 9, etc...). Some ideas for your next videos!
I think especially bounties are important and there will be a lot of that. Thanks for the kind words!
Great stuff as always!
Great content lex 👏 such great way to explain spots thank you so much
thanks for the tips lex has made a good impact on my game
Literally the perfect video for me right now. Thanks Lex.
Thanks brother. Keep it up!
This is absolutely fantastic. Especially since there's so little content for microstakes out there. Seeing that you confidently stick to your game here is real valuable. Although I didn't see lots of the family pots here where just everyone decides to call with any two.
Loving these videos and this new content schedule Lex :)
Good content. Nice to see some reviews of small stakes. Great work!
Hey lex thx a lot for this type of videos!
Great vid very helpful thanks.
awesome video. as always. thank you Lex
Really enjoying this series because restarted to play poker only recently after a couple of year of hiatus, so I'm currently playing micro and small stakes while discovering/studying GTO(which seems very loose for these stakes).😅
A lot of these moves are based on GtO models and they clearly also work on lower stakes! Gl with everything
@@LexVeldhuisTV Thank you for the clarification Lex, it's really appreciated
love this, so motivating
These are amazing, man.
Thanks Lex, I'm huge fan!
Commenting for algorithm. This my favorite content on youtube
I’ve played lots of cash games but am very new to tournaments. This is great, informative content
i love these teaching videos!!!
Love these pointers in micro stakes games bro! A lot more relatable. I love all your vids and often adapt some of your high stakes tactics to micro games - these do not generally work and I’m starting to realise it’s apples and oranges! These vids help explain why. Cheers man
Gwan lex... great video my brother
This is way more helpful then the PKO higher stakes all-in fests. Keep 'em going!
That’s just how you have to play those though haha
This is really nice content!
Great video Lex
I have always been a fan since the early 2010s when i started watching WSOP and i've seen your crazy bluffs when you were younger. Keep it up lexy
Mooie video Lex, ik ga jouw punten zéker meenemen in de volgende turbo's en andere toernooien die ik ga spelen, thanks!
Love these videos!
This video is very helpful to me, thanks a lot Lex
Glad it was helpful!
Following you for a long time👍 great content I am a lot on midstakes cu at the tables, continued gl🍀
As a raiseyouredge member I know also your vids with Ben! Great stuff you inspired me a lot and still make me zen to keep focused on the important stuff in order to be able to be ready to ship when the right moment comes 🎉 ❤
Even integrated your musicplaylist from earlier videos to keep the focus haha
I usually play between 30$- 215$ tournaments. These micro videos are still informative for me.Keep it going Lex
That's a big compliment thank you
Love these videos. Keep up the great work lex pure class
Appreciate it!
Love it Lex thankyou
I´d like to watch you studying the hands you marked to review them afterwards. How do you study, which programs and even ow you mark the hands. Thanks!
Love those Videos
Best show in town ❤️
Great video Lex I suggest you also use the replayed to show us what villains had such as the hand at 13:05
Yeah will do, that's a mistake, thanks :)
Great videos!
Excellent video lex, really helps me out when u explain ur thinking especially for those who are confused on why we blind down. Definitely improving my game when I watch these videos. I study with BBZ poker but I need to pause the video every 10 seconds cause he speaks really fast😂
You can put the speed of the videos on BBz at .75
@@LexVeldhuisTV haha Thank you Lex ur the goat, didn't think of doing that❤. im excited for ur next video! Keep it up!
Nice video Lex.
The early game in MTT's is easy for me. However i play low stakes MTT's and i kind of stuggle in the mid game before/after bubble. Sometimes i am able to fight my way onto FT, but usually i end up with min cash. It would be cool to see you play low stake MTT deep into to tourney and explain which spots to take, and how to maximize your chances to get to the FT. ( i feel like theres a big difference between your high stakes MTTs and low stakes i am playing - people dont bluff that often, they usually have it etc..)
Thx for reading this and sorry for the lenght.
Love ya Lex ❤️👌
Thanks mate! There's still a lot of more content coming out, hopefully at one point I'll look into low stakes MTT strategy.
Yes. Lex, simply yes.
These are really, really good videos. Topic I'd like to be next is Satellites. I've seen you play those, but I can't play on the same level. Also bubble play that is related
Its a bit too advanced for this series but maybe I can do a few on the Poker Coaching series
Yes,Yes, YES! this is so great🙂i think 90% of the people who subscribed to your channel are exactly those average players who play such tournaments. i play maximum 20EUR tournaments and this content helps me extremely to improve my game. devoured the video!!!!
Hi Lex, could you perhaps make a video where you discuss multiple tournament strategy's. Pre and post bubble, really enjoy your content. Much love!
Bubbles will definitely come up in some of the turbo editions! Ty

Top content
Thanks Lex
What about a session of 3-5 ABI and showing/explaining the highlights? Thanks Lex!
Thank You and love from India 🇮🇳
Great video Lex, learning a lot. What is the name of that song with the whistling??
Shazam it!
This is so eye opening. Thank you Lex! I am for sure part of the 99% of people that play too tight when getting short and just bleeds to death.
Yeah it's very counter intuitive for people. They think because they dont have much they have to shut down, but it's so different.
@@__Fat__Joey_Crack__1998 pretty narrow sighted if that's the only "lesson" you take out of this.
Do you have a meaning behind the colors you marked players with? I mark players based off of play but also add a note for future reference
Maybe do a video where you are playing 2 games at the same time with different speeds and you still manage to make well thought decisions? Love the videos man!
Im starting to understand everything...
Lex, thanks for the video. What do you think would be better to play STG or MTT in micro/small stakes to build your bankroll. I love mtts but fields are huge and the variance can be brutal.
The smaller the fields the better to build!
Make sense.. but big garantis are so attractive..
I love this
20:37 - nah, in the micros, when people iso-raise a huge chunk of their short stack, it's always super strong... They would have shoved AT, A9 that you've mentioned
Lex this is just what I needed! I’m a microstakes player who often ends up in exact example you gave; make the min-cash and does fuck all else! I wouldn’t be going all in with some of the hands you did! I’ll be making that change immediately! Nice one!
Good explanations 👍 Maybe bounty tournaments next time?)
At 18:06 it is super important too know the standard raising sizes given by Pokerstars, because many microstakes probably wont change those. 2.5 is a pre set raising size so him raising too 2.5 doesnt change much in my opinion.
Still affects what we can play mathematically
I have a question about the SB vs BB hand. I understand that the ace never hits you on the turn and by checking back you protect yourself as there's a lot of hands you're going to want to check back there. Additionally as you say they can fire off on the river and you can pick it off. But could you not make a case for betting some/ all of your 6s on the turn as you're going to look very bluffy there? They know you haven't hit the ace so may call quite light? I guess this may be hard to balance.
Should you adjust your ranges or play in general depending on the stakes you are at and the type of players you're most likely to find there?
good video
Love this, blockers are most of the time not real, I sound like Stapes :)
do you play any short deck tourneys?
Was KQ off not suited haha on min 4 , being a smart ass (jokes) , great content w8 for ep 3 :D😁😁
KQO Lex ;) maar wat een feestje dit.
❤️ it!
Yo Lex,
Yes it’s essential. Super super essential!! Good luck
Are these videos designed for the stakes or just for the concepts in general? There are certain ways to exploit low stakes that involve lower variance play and player focused decisions. GTO is lower EV in many of these cases. Maybe people would like some instruction on those ideas.
Micro stakes are also a great way to teach about different play styles because the players typically make the same types of mistakes over and over again. For instance, overly aggressive or too passive.
I think this is the best way to play these stakes
I can't believe this shit is free - so informative and well put across, thanks Lex.
How about video on lower stakes PKO?
Next week
Lex how often do you get 2 outed in a day playing online because I can't go a turny with out it happening multiple times to ko me I'm talking about having QQ against JJ and they win hitting there J how do you win when this happens multiple times.
Happens multiple times a day. Think about it, 2 outs is 20% chance. 1 out of 5.
The turbo tournaments might seem like 'gambling' at first because there is less playability due to being shortstacked all the time, but you can definitely gain an edge over your opponents by just learning solid preflop poker.
