I've been getting better and better as the days go by BECAUSE of YOUR videos. Right now I have 6 harmonicas in the keys of A, C, D, E, F, G, and ALL of them are Hohner Marine Band Special 20's. I love them to death! I play them EVERY SINGLE DAY!
The “push the thumb with your chin” tip made a huge difference in tone. I’ve always had a good mic seal for 1-6, but always moved my right hand for working the upper octave which resulted in a thin/shrill sound… by using your tip and keeping everything sealed, the upper octave now sounds nice and rich through a bullet mic. 👏
hey Adam, thanks for your wonderful lessons, Im a lapsed harp player who hasrecently dicovered your lessons and it has inspired me to pick them up again after about 20years, its good to be back....having a great time !! keep up the good work
Best Wishes from Joe Blow (AKA Mr twister the Magic Balloon Man)

Please don't ever pull your videos off CZcams...I want to be able to return to your videos (for reference) for the rest of my life.
Like I said earlier...YOUR videos are BETTER than ANY book I've purchased!
You are an amazing teacher! I have been playing the diatonic harmonica for 11 months now and I just want to say that YOUR videos are BETTER than ANY book I've purchased! I have my roots in piano and guitar (for years) but it was only recently that I decided to start playing harmonica and I've actually fallen in love with it MORE than the piano and guitar...and that's really saying something about how POWERFUL this tiny instrument really is! Right now, I still consider myself a beginner, but...
What a wonderful brilliant harmonica player 😄!
Thank you so much for your secrets! I've meet a lot of your boys @ Terra Blues.
Awesome lesson!
Gus
Great! Inspiration is my business.
Thanks for the rave, my friend! I don't have any plans to pull my videos off CZcams. You've definitely caught the blues harmonica bug. I'm glad I helped give it to you.
Thanks Adam! I've been working on some pattern runs myself the past few months, and they often sound great in reverse as well... really helps to tab them out.
Thanks for the lessons! Its all fun and exciting to learn more!
There's an index for most of the CZcams lessons available for $1 on the "CZcams products" page of my website, Modern Blues Harmonica (dot) com. The 60-odd lessons that I sell there are also listed on the homepage of "the store" page.
Oh my God, that 10-hole-overblow is f**king hard to do!
I can't do it accurately yet, but I'll get there some day.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your videos!
HI again :D nice lesson
Ty
I will never say "you are wrong" 2:33. Strangely, what works fr me is keeping the bottom most knuckle of my thumb right behind the (LOL) 11 hole. Seems i can hold the harp back against mouth like that. Looks funny with thumb stickin straight up but i think it sounds sweet
are all these lessons listed somewhere so i could pick the lessons i wanted to try out?
It's not an overblow, it's a blow bend. Overblows are only possible on holes 1 through 6. On holes 7-10, you're bending the blow note down. You're right, though, about it being difficult. You have to use good technique and you have to muscle it down. I'm sure that it's somewhat easier on custom harps.
Hey *****,
When I try and bend my 7th hole, I get that screechy high-pitched ringing. Is that a technique problem, or a Harmonica maintenance issue?
