  • Pentatonix sings their original song Run To You and it is absolutely stunning! I found out after I made this video that this was in fact an original song by PTX, which just made it all that much more amazing to me. Their talent and hard work is something to be aspired to. Want to be even more impressed? Look for one of the videos where they sang this in concert.
Gathered around a single microphone, and asking the audience to be very quiet. You could hear a pin drop... how often do you have a sold out arena/concert hall get that quiet so they could hear them sing.
I think there was even one concert where the sound system failed, and they improvised, asking the audience for quiet and then sang it with no microphones at all! It went over so well, they decided to do the "single mic" (occasionally no mic!) performance of either this song or "Light in the Hallway" to a hushed audience at most of their concerts.

    • @bill.godwin-austen

Here's one of the videos of the performance in St. Louis where the sound system conked out.
      czcams.com/video/PWoV3-fuBU4/video.html
And here's one from their 2019 concert in St. Paul (with Matt) where they did it with the single mic.
      czcams.com/video/MSuUc8SzemA/video.html
And another one a couple months after the original "sound system fail" where they were doing it without mics intentionally in Toronto.

Mr. RSR and I had a neighbor who hung a lighted Bethlehem star on their front porch through Epiphany. I loved seeing that and knowing the wise men were following the star to the King of Kings. 🌟👑
And PS - the Christmas decorations don't come down until after Twelfth Night! ☺️

I love this song! When this song/video was released I was going through a really hard time.
It's so haunting, I must of played it a thousand times.
Thank you for reacting to this!
I was wondering if you are in Michigan? ~♡~
Merry Christmas! 🎄and have a Wonderful New Year! 🥂🍾

Several folks said Kevin and Avi wrote it but I thought it was Avi & Mitch's song. Oh well, it is amazing nonetheless.

I was looking at the lyrics and all of the members were credited with writing the song as well as Benjamin Bram. Alright, I have to ask...is that a Michigan shirt?? The only 'M' I can think of that being would be the 'M's' that are quite often chasing the 'O's' down the field. :D lol
To be honest I'm not a huge football fan, but when I seen your sweatshirt I had to ask and give you a hard time. If that isn't a Michigan shirt you can tell I don't keep track of football. lol
Anyway, hope you don't mind the little joke. Happy new year and I'm glad you were able to spend good, quality time with family!

@@rocksolidreactions3901 I don't know how it went this year. My husband probably listened to the game and my brother in law as well as my sister's kids are really in to sports in general. :) My youngest is a Sooner's fan since he lives out there and every so often I will buy him an OSU shirt that has the 'O' on it and tell him that I thought it was for the Sooners. lol He knows I don't watch sports, so I've done it a couple times. I think I can do it one more time in about 3 or so years. lol Have a fantastic weekend!
