  • Slow and steady with this guy. He's an old soul type... and also very strong and hefty! Trying to get him to slow down and think about our energy and body positions more.

I love how confident she is with these mustangs ! I’d love to be able to do it also but wouldn’t really know what to do is all situations !! But it’s always cool to see when they decide to trust and could watch that all the time !!
Thanks for another awesome vlog !!! ❤️🐴

He’s so handsome! I can’t wait to see the comparison of each of their journeys! I love to see how he seems to be more on the shy side and the mare is more curious. Just two different personalities will make for such a neat journey as we can watch them learn with you side by side!

This is so cool to see! Noticed that you got out of that situation, of being stuck goig back and forth, by offering a slightly less comfortable solution of being poked on the hind end. So he chose to let you get closer instead 😂. Perfect level of pressure! These are so nice lessons, because both of your body languages are very clear 👌

In your opinion, will he be easier or harder to train, being older than 3 years? Or does the individual horse's personality make the real difference? I just recently learned that the US calvary wanted 5 to 9 year old horses for remount purchase. Probably more for hard use on a mature horse's skeleton rather risk crippling a immature horse.
