    How does the folinic acid fall into this. Is it ok to take in lieu of folic acid?

      Though it benefits some women, it's still recommended to consult your health care professional before using this product if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or breastfeeding.

      Folinic Acid is an alternate form of folate. ACOG does recommend taking at least 400 mcg of folic acid. You can take other forms as well. Very few brands include multiple forms of Folate - Ellement is one of them!

    Is it safe to take a prenatal with only folate instead of folic acid?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Před rokem

      In fact, many healthcare providers recommend taking a prenatal vitamin with folate instead of folic acid because folate is the natural form of the vitamin and is easier for the body to absorb. But I'd recommend you consult your healthcare provider for professional advice.😉

      Hi, the recommended daily amount of folate for adults is 400 micrograms (mcg), you should not get more than 1,000 micrograms of folate a day.
