Hello Miss Pam! My stash of book pages is growing so fast that I've decided to refrain from collecting any and all other types of papers. So I'm going to adapt this lovely idea from using a 12x12 page to book pages. Of all sizes just to use 'em up: smaller ones that can be added inside journals to larger ones that can be added as a companion as you did here. Hopefully that will keep my rapidly rising river of book pages from becoming a flood. lol

Great stuff as always Pam!! Got a tip for you, I know how much you hate measuring… just want to get down to the business of crafting, am I right?! You can not only eliminate one of the folds for your spine, you can also eliminate the “pre-scoring”‘you did with the tool. All you have to do are two folds and you’ll have a centered spine. Ready?! First fold, when you’re ready to “fold in half” just fold so that the leading edge of the two sides, instead of meeting in the middle to find center, are the distance apart that you want your spine to be in width. Example: when folded, the leading edge of the front cover should be 1/4” from the leading edge of the back cover if you want a 1/4” spine. Second fold, repeat with the same distance back to front. Voilà no middle fold and trying to figure out if you placed them right. Since the leading edges are the same distance from each other for either edge of the spine fold, they will meet in the center when the spine is perpendicular. Let me know if you need a video and I’ll send you one. Happy Crafting!!!

What a lovely idea! Always love your videos and crafty chats! I don't want to spam this question, but would you consider showing how you store and organize your scraps? I saw one video where you pulled out your "long pieces" scrap folder and was intrigued! Thank you! :)
That first crease/fold that you did at the beginning is what made making the spine trouble. It didn’t want to submit to your later spine folds. But you won the day! 😂
I had an idea while watching one of your older videos that said something about vanilla spray/flavoring to make the journal smell nice. I was wondering if you could make some sort of shaker card with potpourri in it to make it smell good with maybe a squirrel on the edge of the card and the chips showing through the card. Seems like that would be really nice for a gift journal. If it worked you could even make that card so it can be emptied and restocked with fresh chips as desired. I watch your crafty questions on Fridays so perhaps you could answer me there.

I always marvel at what you do with those oxide pads....I just figured out Joanns CARRIES LIKE 10 COLORS of the oxide....I'm so excited to start using them!!! I was wondering where to find the flower legends.....I unfortunately couldn't find your store in time!
