Three adorable rescue puppies playing in the sunshine! 🐕🌞

Rescue puppies Chrissie, Brandy, and Gizmo play in the sunshine! ☀️🐕They had been mostly confined indoors up until this (because they were babies and also dealing with some illness) so this sunny outside time was a little adventure for them!
These little ones came in feeling pretty rough and were diagnosed with coccidia. (An intestinal parasite that causes watery diarrhea and often leads to severe dehydration in puppies.) They got through the treatment and after growing up a little, getting spayed and neutered all were adopted into forever homes of their own!

Working in rescue is hard. I work with multiple local rescues to help rescue (and foster) puppies and kittens, cats and dogs, and even a red-tailed hawk once. We can't save them all but we sure do try. 🥰
