The Infeet sk would pair perfectly with my new certate I have been looking for a rod to do that reel justice and I would love to give that rod a go.🤙
The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight czcams.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!
The new saltiga 23 would be an amazing addition to my collection I would love to take it fishing for some light tackle kingfish 👍 it would be amazing to be able to fish with such a high quality reel
I would love to take the 23 saltiga out on the kayak for some kings on the weed flats. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a beautiful piece of art 🤙
I would definitely have to pair the Infeet sk up with my new certate 2500 it would be a big step up from the TD black pinster even tho that is a great rod I would be keen to get my hands on either model but if not I will continue to use the awesome pinster
Gore Rex has always been a great material to make very high end rain gear. the breathable material is unlike any I have personally used I would be thrilled to win such a high quality piece of clothing and the first place I would take to is up in the mountain lakes for some big bass it always seems to be wet there so I would greatly appreciate to win one of those. 🤙
Gore Rex has always been the cream of the crop but sadly has always been priced as such I would love to win one just to feel the quality and the great craftsmanship. I would definitely use it on the break walls in NSW it always seems to be raining here. 🤙
I’ve owned infeets before but I’d love to own a top end version. The infeet have been a good rod for a long time now and I hear the new reels aren’t too bad either I’d love to pair it up with my luvious 2500 it would be a match made in heaven.
Great showcase Tom and Daiwa.
You guys are absolutely killing it. I 100% agree with you Tom. Pairing the infeet sk with the ex reel.
Straight through flouro. What a weapon of a setup.
You fellas never disappoint!
Keen as a bean for some of the new stuff🔥
Probably as keen as I am for a new Josh D upload
Couldn’t be more spot on
Thanks Josh 😊
That new saltiga looks amazing!!
The infeet sk with a fast action ultra light would be soooo sick with a luvius arity 2500s for some bream, flaty, Trev and pinky’s with 4-8lb braid
I am using a Certate 8000H for heavy shore jigging for kingfish, bonito, tuna and was about to put together a medium shore jigging outfit for lighter jigs. The new Saltiga 6000XH looks perfect and I can't wait to get my hands on one!
Loved it Tom, awesome video and the new products are next level. Thanks heaps!! 👍🏻🎣❤️
Daiwa wow you never stop to excite me into your new products. You are on fire.
Love all the new products that you guys bring out every year. The new 2023 Saltiga 6000, I would love use for chasing mulloway in the sallows and in the deep would definitely trying it out on some jigging for dhu’s over here in Western Australia thanks guys can’t wait for new years new products👍🏼
I use all diawa set ups. Been catching lots of flattys. Love the rods and the reels. Bait junkys go off . Got my pb 1050 . I won my first fishing comp on ur gear. I turn 8 in july hope dad hooks my up some more of ur gear❤❤
Definitely harbour kings on the 23 Saltiga!
Love the new products. Daiwa always leading the market with innovative premium features. Needless to mention. SERIOUSLY SEXY! Being a South African rock and surf angler. The new saltiga was made for catching those 90lbs kob/mullaway with it's super smooth drag absorbing those ferocious head shakes.
I would definitely pair up the Infeet SK with the new Infeet X! A combo like that would be 🔥 for the fishing I do. Cheers Diawa!
That new 23 Saltiga looks absolutely wild, better, lighter and you can't beat that well loved Saltiga drag sound. I'd do the lighter end, 4000-H paired with chasing snapper off the rocks. Awesome work this year Daiwa!
The 23 Saltiga in the 4000-XH, stickbait off the Tathra wharf and a nice Kingie screaming for the horizon is my idea of a perfect morning! The drag sound is so cool, but its the sheer quality of the reel for me.
Wow the new reels look amazing! Love the work Daiwa has put in for this year's lineup.
I would use the Saltiga 23 6000XH to target kingfish and longtails along north NSW!
Hi Daiwa Australia. Im a massive fan of your products. With the Saltiga 6000xh, i would continue my rock fishing journey (taught by Alex Bellissimo) and chase mac tuna, kings and hopefully get my first ever Spanish mackerel. Keep up the great work!
Awesome to see some incredible new products! Great work as always!
I'd chase Kingfish with the new 23 Saltiga.
I'd pair the new Infeet SK with my ever reliable Caldia MQ 2500S!
The new wet weather gear would mean that rain would never get in the way of another fishing trip!
On the Daiwa Infeet SK series fast taper rod I would throw 2.5 inch Daiwa Bait Junkie grubs, paired with the Daiwa Exists 2000s.
Perfect combo for a Lake Macquarie bream/whiting session during Feb/March.
Luv the New Saltiga , luv to hook up Kingfish , Snapper and the Bonito where I fish. Well done Daiwa Australia for pushing for these sizes . Looking forward to these new models.
Some great stuff coming!! Really like the jig heads, I'd love to catch my first kingy on one of the new 23 saltigas.
Would also love to use the gortex rainware to keep myself dry while out on the kayak!!
The wet weather suit would give me the confidence to be dry in any fishing situation or on tournament day. Great showcase today.
Just when you think Daiwa's done delivering the goods with the awesome new rod and reel options and they throw out the new Gortex rainwear suits, maybe not the right kind of suit for a red carpet but something like that for fishing those cooler wetter days, sign me up.
That New Saltiga looks absolutely mint!!!!!!! Would be an awesome addition to my collection, number one fish to chase with one of them would be big bangers 💯
Wow, the new saltiga looks outstanding. Would love to use that reel for like jigging on for amberjack, cobia snapper and many more species. Land based rock fishing for trevally tuna and even kingfish would suit the 23 saltiga reel really well to. This would make the perfect addition to my Daiwa rods and reels. Great video.
I would love the saltiga it would be my fishing rod for kingfish, snapper, boneto mac tuna, and many others. Great setup mate I can't wait to find out more about this.
Great walkthrough, greater line up and even better visuals (loved the Saltiga video). The 23 Saltiga 6000xh would be perfect off the rocks. Me and Missus have been getting more keen on the stickbaiting and shore jigging game this season and the Saltiga would be an awesome 11th wedding anniversary present.
Even without the giveaway, looking forward to more content!!
Great work Slats and team - love the addition of the shallow running double clutch and can't wait to get my hands on some. Regarding the 22 Infeet SK give away - I'd probably pair it with the 19 Certate LT 2500S and go whack a few Bream.
SK infeet rod plus certate definitely without a doubt would be the best pairing combo of them all ...geeesh imagining it now fishing that kind of gear in my hands...Heaven
I would definitely match both Infeet SK rods with my TD SOL MQs. Currently run them on my Infeet Z rods and they are a fantastic combination for all scenarios on the bream.
The diawa gor-tex great would be great in my winter offshore trips. I'd stay warm and dry!
I have always used columbia rain suits but would feel very confident of staying dry in a GORETEX line suit on any wet day or night ,especially in a tournament because of my trust in DAIWA products
If I were rocking the Daiwa Goretex suit, I'd be fishing anywhere any time because I'd be covered regardless if it was bucketing down or not. Would be fun on my kayak too actually.
The gortex wet weather system would be amazing to me keep me dry and comfortable while in my kayak, fishing those comps where you can't let the wet weather stop you from catching your bag.
The smaller Saltiga 23 options look awesome! I'd take a 6000XH out to chase my first Kingfish off the rocks and try out some shorejigging.
I'd pair the Infeet SK rods with my Revelry FC and pick up some of the new Daiwa Jigheads to throw some plastics around!
I’ve used Goretex in a jacket and waders. They are so much better than anything else that I’ve tried. Not too hot and sweaty and great for protection from blackberries and briars. My jacket has finally worn out and I need a replacement for fishing offshore, estuaries, Barra and Jacks up North, Bream and EP’s in Victoria and Trout in the Snowies. I’ve always loved Daiwa gear and would love the rainwear.
It’s cold and wet down here in Vic, the goretex jacket will get a showing just going to the playground. Would definitely keep me warm targeting the late night/ early morning mulloway
That gore Tex rain wear is what I need to take on the kayak in winter. Don't care about getting wet when it's warm but come winter I'll need something like that.
Love the look of the saltiga. Be happy to catch anything that hits on it 🎣
Oh my word! That new Saltiga is amazing, I'd use it for Kingys or even jigging for Dhufish and Snapper over here in WA.
Happy to see the new Saltiga reel, want to add on my Saltiga collection catching kingfish and salmon here in New Zealand
Gotta agree with Tom, I'd be matching up the infeet SK with the infeet X it'd be pretty hard to beat that combo
awesome product show fellas! the 23 saltiga looks and sounds great. no doubt it would be a perfect smaller size reel for some estuary mulloway or light surf mulloway! that's what I'd use it for!
Hi Daiwa Australia, I absolutely love the new 23 Saltiga design and color. If I had the 6000XH size, I would take it out to the rocks and chase landbased pelagics like small tunas, kings, trevally and many more. Its definitely a reel I would like to add to my Daiwa arsenal.
Oh just give it to em already Daiwa, catching Pelagius with the new 23 Saltiga 6000XH would be prime considering the lovely sound of the drag when those epic fish take off.👌
I'm a sucker for the infeet series when punching some light plastics amongst structure with that fast taper paired with a fast action. Matching the red to red is the 21 Revelry FC MQ 2500, would make for a beast of a combo. Also props to Daiwa for with the fresh new look on their website, looks awesome.
Infeet certainly isn’t the most inspiring name for a product line though☹️
I’d be using the wet weather gear today, it’s chucking down. 👍🏻
gotta love the 23 Saltiga!! much love
I'd take the Gore Tex Rain Jacket and Bibs on any of the winter ABT comps! Dry and toasty warm all day long on the boat!!
With the gortex wet weather gear I would be sure to be dry both in the hastings fishing the walls for bream, flatties, tailor and jew aswell as offshore chasing those big snaps and kings
So many good products. That Saltiga 6000 would definitely help bring in one of those Dog Tooth tuna out at the Chesterfield reef
I think your bang on the money Tom. Obvious choice for me would be to pair the new infeet SK rods with a Daiwa infeet x reel.
The new saltiga in the 6000 size looks unreal. It would be the perfect reel for shore jigging off the stones for some big kingies. 2023's gonna be a great year.
A beautiful 101cm yellow tail kingfish , hearing that smooth drag scream and thrusting it to the surface.
And the new Airity with the new Infeet SK would make a sick combo! 🔥
I feel the Saltiga would be ideal for casting mid sized stickbaits for pelagics, maybe spanish and 2 etc.
In terms of the Infeet it seems like they would pair perfectly with the new Airity, or even one of the new baby saltigas
I’d love to ad the 23 saltiga to my arsenal. I already have a certate 14000xh but I find I am reaching for a lighter reel from day to day I would love for that to be a saltiga that I am reaching for. It would be the perfect size for jewfish off the break walls or for king fish on the weed flats.
The Goretex suit would be perfect to go anywhere, would trust it 100% while out fishing out on the boat on a wet day or night
Enjoying the show reels look great love catching snappers trivially. And what ever is on the hook
Love the look of the new Saltiga, would love to catch a range of species such as queenies, trevally, mackeral up in the northwest with the light 4000 size. would look awesome in my collection!
Infeet x on an Infeet sk as you say is the obvious choice and one I’d love. Also I’m in Tassie so those wet weathers will come in handy.
For me, the 6000 size ‘23 Saltiga is perfect for both Snapper and Gummy Shark fishing. Both ripping soft plastics in clear water, or presenting baits in fast tidal waters for those 20lb+ fish.
New Saltiga 23- first catch, queeny on our northwest trip next month.
Wow that looks so good. Catching a bunch of Tuna up at K'gari using the 23 Saltiga would be absolutely INSANE!!!
That goretex suit would make early winter mornings casting for salmon off the beach much more comfortable.
right now i am using 2 Certate SW6000XH reels paired to the 21 Saltiga 83-6 Heavy rods for sight casting Blacks round Frazer. the Saltiga 6000XH paired to the same rod will sit nicely with these 2 outfits to finish the switch baiting methods i like to use. thx Daiwa n the Team.
The Ultimate Weather protection clothing , Goretex Bib and Brace overalls and a Rain Jacket, what a difference that would mean to fishing time ! simply ignore the rain and just go, the estuary, beach or offshore. Add those cold winter nights when the Mulloway are on the prowl (and you can feel your fingers and ears freezing just thinking about it) and Goretex have the perfect solution.
Hi Tom thanks for putting this on year after year. BTW I keep waiting for new colours in my favourite the Steez Shad, don't forget this lure in the next round of upgrades, this is my flatty slayer! I would use the Saltiga 23 6000 for inshore Kingfish within the harbour and near the heads. I currently use an old gen TD Black 2000 and a Kix 2500 so I dream about the new TD Black MQ 2000 and a Revelry MQ 2500 to pair with premium rods like the Infeet SK's. Cheers!
Really good line up for 2023. I'd love to use that new saltiga on reef species like GT's and coral trout, but also good for spinning for tuna and mackarel.
I agree a couple infeet X reels paired up with those new infeet rods would be killer🤙🤙
I would love the 23 daiwa saltiga. I would use it for kingfish and pink snapper and it would for sure be my go to rod for saltwater fishing.
Super excited to to pair Infeet Airity with my Infeet SK pair for the ultimate finesse fishing combo chasing estuary fish in my Kayak!
Surely a new Certate is coming this year!!
I reckon fall release... its a global reel.
Great line up. love the light gear and would love the infleet 2k rod with the infleet X reel, suit my Kayak setup perfectly.
I'm happy to finally see the baitjunkie jigheads, hopefully there are some ultralight options like some size 4
Being from Victoria, the Goretex rainwear would be ideal fishing for black bream anywhere in winter but would mainly fish the gippy lakes or Mallacoota
The new 23 Saltiga looks insane! I would be using the 6000XH straight away to start checking off a few jewies off the rocks and chase GT on other days. Love your work guys!
63 years old and still love my fishing. Ive been chasing big Mulloway on the far west coast of South Australia nearly every year for the past 30 with my best mate, I’ve got some nice Daiwa gear that I own already and they’ve caught me plenty….but I’d love the opportunity to take the new Saltiga 6000H over to our favourite beach, and give it a run against those silver monsters of the surf.
So wearing a new Goretex Wet weather outfit I would fish the amazing backdrop of Crowdy Bay in the Mid North Coast in Winter for Tailor maybe using some of those new metals you’ve just released!
I would love to be able to break into the high-end reel marked with the 6000 xh saltiga. Absolutely loved the look and performance of them for ages. If I had one I would get into the kings, tuna and Sampsonfish we have around SA. Great stuff Daiwa, very excited for all the new gear
Wow how good does the new Saltiga look!
Would definitely use it with a 7 inch bait junkie jerk shad (white magic is my favourite colour) to muscle up some kingfish in the offshore waters around Port Macquarie
Love the saltiga, would hundred percent use it for land based off the rocks chasing kings, snapper and maybe even some tuna
I’d love to wear the gortex gear when walking the rivers around the Otway or south west Victoria were it would a must own item for those unpredictable days.
Dawia saltiga 6000hg paired with a Sea Jigger would Be the ultimate set up I need for land based lure casting the coast for mulloway
the new sk infeet would perfectly match my new daiwa caldia LT2000s! i love throwing light/unweighted plastics around the mandurah canals over here in WA for monster bream, it’d be awesome to get my hands on a beautiful rod like that
The new infeet sounds amazing! I’ll hopefully be pairing one with my Exist 2500 - and hopefully will win one 😁
The new Infeet looks sublime. It would look even better with a Luvias on it.
That Infeet so looks amazing I would love to take that fishing for bass on the dams. It would be a great combo to pair with my new certate lt 2500. Would love the opportunity to win such a fine piece of tackle.🤙
I would wear the new Daiwa Gortex suit fishing a cold winter morning on the Gippy Lakes, would be perfect !
Cool show as usual, a must see event for me every year, I would pair a new Daiwa Infeet S.K. With a T.D. Black M.Q. With straight through Fluorocarbon J-Thread for some big Bream!!!
I'd be wearing that sweet Gore-Tex bib and jacket on those rainy nights where I feel like an after work fishing session so I don't have an excuse to let the weather stop me - but hey it's so nice maybe I'd even wear it to my wedding!
Love to catch some Kingie's off the rocks, with the new Daiwa Saltiga 6000xh paired with a Saltiga rod and Daiwa braid !!
I'd use the 6000 saltiga locally to chase the big kings starting to lurk around lake mac, but would cross over and use it to throw some big swimbaits for cod, and some big bait junky plastics for barra up north.
I use Aird reels on all my light outfits and would be happy with ‘23 Aird on the new Infeet SK rods, though paired with an Infeet X would be the ultimate setup.
