Naw just get a real one. Love the plant 🪴 holder tho.
@Msnaturally Mary A snake plant is the easiest to take care of.. 🙂 They are lovely in the home all sizes anywhere.
@@MsNaturallyMary There are low maintenance plants that need little to no sunlight and water.
No ma’am. However, if it makes you happy that’s literally all that matters lol. As a devoted plant mom, fake plants make me sad 😂😂
Many of us have pets that such plants could be toxic if eaten. Why take the chance?
The way she looked when the first leaf came off😂Priceless
As someone who is notorious for killing plants, faux plants are the way to go. Love it!
Murderer!!!!
.....
🤣🤣🤣- I am totally just playing. I couldn't resist. 🤣
Faux plants are aesthetically pleasing, but the way they collect dust makes me opt for real plants instead.
I've had a real one for five years. I have to dust it 🤧 regularly, TOO!
It looks good! Your happy and that is the only thing that matters. I have fake and real I still have to dust them both.
Ok.....this is just me.....a plant parent of 77 plants......with plenty of time on my hands. I LOVE REAL plants. The look and feel is so much better for my "plant room" and home. "Do you," plant people.
I’ll take a real one. I love the feel of watching something grow and feel like I’ve been apart of it ❤
Me too! I always tell people that my plants are my Pets. They all have names, lol
For the people that keep talking about Real vs. Fake plants, nobody cares what you like, this video is about her and what she likes, and if she likes it that's all that matters, because she didn't ask for y'all opinion and I don't think she will be taking it back to get a real one.🙄
Smart girl! It will never die, no water, no repot, no mess, looks real, so easy 😁
No clean air, soulless, and will end up in a landfill for about 10000 years.
That is huge, but beautiful! I love doing a combination of real and fake!
Beautiful! They talking about real plants. I would get real dirt to put in the planter for my fake plant and go about living my real life.
Soil and dirt are not the same thing.... 👀 just sayin'
Some people don't know money literally grows on trees. Definitely a bigger win to grow something that's aesthetically pleasing, filters the air, and simultaneously grows food that sustains your real life for super cheap... dusty plastic can in fact look pretty though. Useless, but ... sorta pretty. ..... sorta. ... isss it tho? Eh. doesn't matter, you do you.
@@HedgeHousePremiumit's better to get what you like and fits your lifestyle vs killing real plants.
I was so surprised by looking at those comments. I love faux plants, and hers is so beautiful.
This is me. My outdoor plants are real soil and fake plants. It looks so good!!
Get a real one it will bring such a beautiful vibe into your home also if you take care of the plants they will take care of you 🌱🪴🍃
Let's scratch the floor all the way to the corner. Fake plants are HUGE dust collectors and everyone I know that has one has know idea how to clean or maintain them.
When you're allergic to real plants and flowers, faux is where it's at 😊
Bruh... How are you even alive on this planet ? 😟😰 It's gotta just be when the pollen is getting frisky, not the whole flower or plant itself, right? You must be a carnivore... I could literally never 😩
I mean I could but .... that would be so tragic if that were me. 😩
I’m allergic to some flowers and some trees. Can’t remember which ones but I know one flower is lily and I know when I go to a certain part in Philadelphia called Chestnut Hill my allergies go haywire. I’m not sure which trees are up there but I have a hard time surviving up there.
Who is allergic to a fiddle leaf fig? Those plants are so gorgeous. I killed my first one, will not be killing the second one. I can't wait for it to get that big.
I love you and your channel sis, me personally, I love real plants and it looks like you have a lot of natural light and they would grow really well in your house.
Grow beautifully...all that natural light 🤦🏿♀️🌹. My friends say the same thing, she says 🤷🏿♀️😇🧚🏿♀️
I like the face cuz it was like the round to texture in it the circle of color but I think the tree that that was inside the pot was the wrong tree it needed more classy more louder like more these I'm showing out the pot to make the pop grow some more answers as a circle
Thanks so much! 🤗Real plants are great! I wish I could keep them alive. But, every time I get one it dies😬🙉😩
@@MsNaturallyMary There's a plant for every individual, lightening and lifestyle. I started out with golden pothos, simple and easy to keep up. I water it every 2 weeks. I've killed plants before and it was a lesson learned, all good :-)
@MsNaturallyMary You can keep a live plant alive, the key is to get one that is easy to grow, and dont over water. Some plants instead of watering them every week give them 2-3 ice cubes which will keep the soil moist but not kill the roots...Try it!! That would make a great post. Peace and love
I loooove this plant holder 😍
$500 for a fake plant without the pot is insane.
my Ikea tree was $80 and looks the same. Just put it next to a 3k sofa and no one will ever doubt it 🤩
That feeling when you add a plant in your new home 😌…. Gorgeous add 👏🏾
I tried real plant and it didn't work kept dying so all fake everywhere don't have to worry about it dying lol
@@jennifernangboa 😅 ihu I’m on my 3rd attempt with real, 🙏🏾 they survive me and I live in the tropics even worse 🫣😂
Works for me. I’d even have something with more foliage coming up from the bottom. I love the vase.🥰
Love the pot holder but the way you dragged it on the floor😢😢😂😂
I love real plants. They cost me o fortune but am good. There's a lot of expectation with them, something to look forward to each day and that is my therapy. I learn a lot of life lessons through them as well. I am grateful for them and life to partake in these lessons. GRATITUDE.
This is nice, I love my real plants and I won't give them up.
I'm with you on the faux plants. I can easily dust them off and they are there for life without me freaking out whether or not a watered them.
forget the ban wagon , I LIKE IT… especially if you dont have time to water it or have a place for it to catch sunlight … the pot seems to big tho , its cute but you should try a different holder
Yes they are! I have a few myself. They're beautiful accents to any room and they last! Just spray and wipe them! Although for that particular space, I would utilize a tree where the fig leaves go althe way down. That one gets lost in that pot.🥰
I saw somebody put a fake Christmas tree in that same planter, and OMG it was gorgeous!!!
LOL at all the haters who just HAVE to comment negatively not realizing that every comment just boosts your content.
I love fake plants and can't stand the upkeep on real ones even though I think they're pretty. Also, I have cats who will try to eat the real plants. I'd much rather avoid having to clean up plant induced cat puke on the regular.
Girl this video made me buy that planter 🪴
Mary, I just paid $150 for a faux oak tree from Target. It is the prettiest eye catcher in my dining room. No fuss happening in that corner. I love yours too. 🌹🙋🏻♀️
I think it looks great! Not to mention so much easier than real plants.. my husband and I have 3 kids, a dog, 3 cats and snake! Makes us appreciate nice home edits/decor that's no mess no fuss
@@MsNaturallyMary Mary you have great light coming through and through a couple of nice plants that require watering once a week I have faith in you you can do it.
Large plants like that are so easy to take care of though. I really don’t like the way fake plants look over time. They start getting really dusty and their plastics start changing color from the sunlight and the glues start separating.
I love a faux plant!! I had a real plant once and it collected bugs inside the pot during the summer and I just could not 😂 ive been a faux plant girl ever since
It’s not that hard to get rid of pests on real plants. Just means your too lazy.
@@handlecantbelongethan30charact Shutup. People like you who sit and look for comments to respond negativity to when you know absolutely nothing about the person you’re commenting on have absolutely no life.
@@handlecantbelongethan30charact could be s/he had more shit to do with her life than kill invited bugs
the bugs came most likely from over watering but you can alleviate that with the right treatment. you have to learn how to care for the plant you choose and once you do, you can't beat the return.
I'm with you faux plants are great plus you don't have to worry about attracting gnats.
@@LarennPBel not true, if you live in a humid home, your houseplants are going to attract gnats no matter how healthy they are. I had gorgeous, super healthy succulents that were in special succulent mix (contained no soil) and were watered once a month. They still attracted gnats because my apartment was humid AF.
You gotta fill the pot with some type filler artificial mulch or something
My dad has a gigantic fiddle leaf fig tree that is 100% real growing in the shade in our living room it’s like 6 feet tall
Agreed. This is my third time owing ficus lyratas. My first one was a live plant that I got for $20 at Food4less. It was about 2 ft long. The two I have are small artificial ones from Michael’s. I have them placed on my nightstand in a gray clay vase. So cute.
😍 Beautiful. It looks great in that space. I love me some faux plant. That’s a multi-purpose vase and when you want to change it up, you can use it on your back patio or even at your front entrance as well.
Also you can get a fuller look from the tree branches if you anchor them down some more, especially the middle part.
I love it...And when you get bored with that, slap glass on the vase and your have a table.
You do you, boo.
Personally, plastic plants upset me because they're the illusion of something living that was never alive. They make me sad for the same reason robotic pets make me sad. But I'm surprisingly fine with taxidermy or pinned insects.
Yes I love faux plants in my living room!
Ur home is beautiful
Faux plants are always beautiful 😍. Loved the look!
That looks better than I thought it would.
The way plants would only add a brown aesthetic in my home, faux plants for the win 😂
Oh that poor floor when you were pushing the flower pot 😅
Nah, real plants always win. Brings a sense of freshness, life, & realness! Cute pot tho
Especially when u have toddlers and babies ,I’m all for it
Looks very nice, I prefer real plants, but it’s great if you don’t have the time or energy to devote to growing them naturally.
It dropped a leaf when you moved it-just like a live fiddle leaf fig. 😂😂😂
AWESOME!!! IT CAME OUT SO BEAUTIFUL. 🎉🌴🌿🌿🥰💜🙌🏾🎁
It’s the little dances for me! 😂 love how it looks but I’d honestly rather opt for the real thing.
I love faux plants, too! They really make a house a home and make everything immediately feel fresher and classier. Plants in my house die because it’s too cold and dark, so that’s why I have mostly faux plants around the house with a few real plants of hardy stock (that would be your standard snek plant and pothos) mixed in to help to purify the air and satisfy the maternal, gardening urges I get. Faux plants need to be styled and kept clean/oiled for them to look real and they can be expensive, but start small and stay on budget by getting them at IKEA and Marshall’s. Thanks for the video! 😊❤
That had to cost a lot because I love it! Everything I love I can’t afford, lol.
You have expensive taste, that you have to budget for but most certainly can afford! Just haven't figured out how to pay for it yet! 😉
Gurrl you better stop affirming that lack and limitation over your life.
Plants really aren’t that time consuming lol. They need proper light and water. The key is getting the right plant for your lifestyle. For instance ivys are great fit on the go or first time plant owners. Easy to keep. On the other hand those cute inexpensive succulents are difficult as well as fiddle fig trees. I definitely agree. Real plants give a little something extra 😊
You did the right thing. Some people don’t have the time or energy to take care of real plants. I have fake palm trees in my living room and they look real. No worries
I Agree!! So pretty!!😊🤗😚💕💗💖💕💗💗💖💗💕💗💖💖
I ❤ FAUX PLANTS! I have fakes & live ones. I bought a faux fiddle leaf fig tree but it’s smaller than yours…wish I’d have gotten a larger one. ENJOY😂🤩
And there you go no maintenance needed,I love it, never had a green thumb 🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
I love plants and flowers. Love them enough to understand I cant keep them alive nor have the patience to learn. Falsies it is!
Mary putting curtains will complete your homes look, even if it's just valance curtain bring in another color will help it pop...
The way she danced after she was done.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think 🤔 it looks amazing 👏.
I'd fill the pot with big white stones! Lovely plant though
This looks like something my husband would complain about me buying 😂. It looks nice 👍
They are for those who can't grow plants. Looks good.
I had nature inside my home until I got tired of cleaning up leaves, watering, vacuuming, then dying on me. So …. fake trees and plants all up in my house. Even more beautiful with strings of white lights in the trees.😊
That bit of greenery uplifts my soul & it's just a video I'm watching. Saves time & energy & money keeping it alive & bug free.
Big facts sis! I only do faux plants, I can’t deal with the bugs flying around, so faux it is ❤️❤️❤️ Hope everyone has a blessed day
I prefer faux over real any day 🤷🏾♀️ just as pretty and less maintenance
Not the free throw of the last bit of plastic hahhahaha saaaamee
It looks beautiful 😍🥰
I agree. I had a couple of them. I'm not one that likes to deal with plants and dirt but I like them. So faux plant It's perfect.
From a Realtor's "design to sell" perspective, the entire look and feel of the space ( including you in it) gives off a clean, fresh, elegant vibe with simplicity. Functional too. I like it. 🖤 i think it's lovely and you are too sis. Faux trees are the best way to go! You can use sprays and crafts plus a little dust or faux dirt to REALLY make them more realistic without the bugs and drama of real trees. It can get pretty gross if they catch a tree disease or get knocked over and moving them is crazy.. Incorporating smaller scattered real indoor plants will help to REAL up the look of the faux tree as well. Maybe hanging ferns? Even faux? What are your plans for the window treatments in the back?
I like it, especially the pot. It’s too beautiful to hide behind the chair though. Maybe put some string lights around the stem of the tree. That would be really cool.
It’s REALLY cute 😻
Your face when the leaf peeled off 😂😂😂😂😂
It's the jump shot for me😂😂
I love your beautiful home too❤ we have bunches of nearly new hydrangeas in the front yard and used landscape 12 inch pins to stick them in the ground to withstand heavy winds and mulch over them. Neighbors think they're real 😅.
I love how she just throws everything😂❤😂❤
I have a mixture of both. For instance, my bathroom doesn't have window and I'm not about to get in a step ladder every day to water plants on the top of my kitchen cabinets. However, real plants are a must if you are going to get plants because not only are they a great addictive to your decor, they purify the air in your space. I always can tell the difference when I go on vacation for a week and then come back to my house.
You can also add some coconut coir around the faux plant, inside the planter...it helps it look more real!
🥰🥰🤣 THAT LITTLE ""I'M SOOO PLEASED WITH WHAT I GOT"" WIGGLE TELLS IT ALL👍👍👍
i can't even look at a faux plant but then again I have a green thumb. Kudos to those who make them work - - I'm not mad at you.
I got a Bunch of fake plants n trees after my kids told me that it wasn’t fair that I kept killing poor plants. Now, I only keep a couple real plants among them, n it’s Great!! 😊
Me canceling plans just to be like this at home at night 😂
As someone who picked the strongest plant I could find and then had it die on me after a few months, I approve of this message. Quality faux plants look indistuinguishable anyway.
your little dances got me creasing haha
I have one real and the rest are fake. I live in the desert and I used to have the cacti thing, but wanted lovely plants and flowers, hence the fake one. So pretty and they don't require any care, and its easy to change things.
I’m growing a fig tree! My millennial daughter is right with you! Her apartment is decorated with the same type of plants. Matter fact same color scheme!!!
I’m not doubting that they’re nice. They’re just way too expensive 🤷🏾♀️
I started with faux and now I have real plants. Both have their perks but at this time in my life I find more beauty in watching them grow than looking pretty in a decorative way. Faux plants have come a long way and I'd still use them in dark rooms.
A quality faux plant is a great look
Adding a decorative pot and I add river rocks and moss from dollar tree.
And yes, I have real plants too.
Tip: You can save on the number of rocks you use by using floral foam to fill the space
I agree with this caption! 😆 i love real plants but my pets ruin all of them. I have a patio garden and faux plants at home 😆❤️
The fiddle leaf is a HARD HARD plant to keep alive so yes I agree getting that one artificial but live plants are so much better on the whole they bring life into your space and they’re such a joy to look at I find myself sitting and just staring at all my plants and I love them all❤❤❤I do love that plant holder though
Faux is good for those of us who don't have a green thumb
Ugh what's next, fake roses? It's a no for me that's not fooling anyone. The beauty of houseplants is bringing life nature inside. Plus the thrill of putting your hands in the dirt. This is just cheating.
You're so crazy, not the 3 pt shot, lol. I ain't mad at ya....you did that 😆

Just need a little more fluffing...
Your happy dances are so cute! And the faux plant looks great in that room!
Hey- I have an idea… how about buying a real plant along side the faux?? That way you can practice your plant mom skills and off load the pressure of failing bc you’ve got a back up?? ( tbh, I think I am really suggesting this to myself 🤪😎).
