great video!!!! I love the Myakka State Forest, I've hiked several of its trails. BTW, what's the setup on your gheenoe? Did it come like that or did you add the rear platform and the center console?
We bought it used so it came with those features.

Did you two just boat in or did you have to check in before hand? Did you make a reservation and just show up?
What an awesomene channel , and we are new to camping. Is is worth it to purchase jackery for eletcric cooking, and eletcric cooler for campers that camp no lore than 3 days? Or is it better to stick to 2 burner small propane and a good ice ooler that will hold ice for 3 days ?
The Jackery won't support a ton of electric so we use it mostly for lights and charging our phones. I'm not positive but I don't think it would support an electric cooler for very long before it ran out of juice. We plan to put it to the test more this winter when we primitive camp.
Might I ask why you cut your trip short because of the tides? You are in a shallow running boat !!
The challenge we had was that the tide the next morning was going to be even lower. The area where the boat was anchored was very flat with no drop off until you got to the channel. As a result, we would have had to anchor the boat a long way off shore for it not to be beached when it was time for us to leave. And we didn’t want to miss the Buccaneers game against the Packers!
@@GloriousDayAdventures I knew there must have been alternative reasons 😂 I have been researching your boat and they draft less than a foot of water with a 25hp. Low tides can be fun to fish with the right boat !!
