My grandmother went to Paris with my uncle. She saw the eiffel tower and she said, it was tremendous and magical. She loved Paris and the hotels. She passed away in 2020 of covid 19.
The more I go to Paris the more I fall in love with this city! It has one of the best gastronomic scenes in Europe, the architecture is stunning, the options of museums and cultural events are endless...
It's crazy to me that they built this whole structure just to take down a few years after. Luckily they didn't...

Last week we were in France for 8 days and visited almost all the main attractions in Paris. Went to Lourdes by TGV too. London to Paris and back by Eurostar. Beautiful memories. 😍❤🥰

I love this monument, I took some good pics from the top looking back to the Arc de Triomphe. You gave very good advice to get your tickets online because the general admission lines are long. I got mine through a tour company as a package that also had a river cruise after. The tour company’s office is less than 5 minutes walking to the tower. They took us to a VIP entrance on the side and we were on the elevator to the first level in less than 20 minutes. I miss Paris and definitely will go back.

I went a week ago and I only live 5 hours away but never got a chance to go,, until the Blackpink concert however Paris itself left a bigger impression on me than the concert which I was looking forward to for a year. It’s absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and it transported me into what felt like a romantic movie

As always, I am impressed at the quality of your video, which I understand you film using a hand held iphone. I have visited Paris a few times, but have never felt the inclination to ascend the Eiffel Tower so I found your report very interesting. I have seen the tower from a river boat on the Seine at night however, which was pretty spectacular. Looking forward to your next review.

This is like when you went on top of the WTC in New York. It was lovely to watch the skyline of NY. Here in the eiffel tower, on top, you watched the skyline of Paris.

Glorious video and great array of views to the horizon…… having been at Sky Garden in London earlier this year and Eiffel Tower 2 years ago does remind me how few tall structures there are in Paris. Ps Eiffel Tower floodlit at night is well worth a visit even if Trocadero can get crowded particularly if fountain display is on

Many Parisians around the turn of the 20th century disliked the Eiffel Tower and thought it was an eyesore. The French writer Guy de Maupassant had lunch at the restaurant of the Eiffel Tower every day and his friends were puzzled by it because they knew he hated it. One of them asked and he said "It is the only place in Paris where one can sit down to eat without having to see the tower."

Do they still have the glass display case with the metal control panel from the old lift system? The chief engineer removed it, wrapped it in a towel and hid it in a closet until the Allies liberated Paris to make it difficult for the Germans to use it as an observation tower during WWII.
The eiffel tower has been there for lots of years. I think it's a really tall tower. It's so pretty.
