@@TheFeedRocket I've got to admit, there is some heat coming from the top grill. It's one of the first things I've noticed after using the display for a couple of hours. As for noise, completely silent. Hope that helps !
@@DreySantesson It does help, glad it's not noisy, I think I can deal with the heat. Just strange seeing the 24" iMac has no grill and no real heat, maybe it's the power supply, iMac is separate brick. Guess it's better out the top than radiating from the front.
That's exactly what it is, in order to make it as minimalist as possible they included everything into the monitor itself. it does look cool and it weights quite a lot, but it also eliminates all the clutter around you and your desk.
Great review - Very happy with my Studio Display. My wish list for the next iteration would be 120hz and multiple inputs to easily switch between devices
I needed a bigger monitor the 14" MBP is nice but to small for work on DAWs. Like you I read a lot of reviews and watched quite a few YTs. Seems that people said non-Apple monitors are okay, but if you want high definition you need the 5K of the Apple Studio Display. I've had my Apple Studio Display about six months and it is great the detail is better than my 27" iMac. The built in speakers really surprised me how good they are, no not good enough for my audio work, but for just general listening they are excellent. Yes, the Apple Studio Display is expensive, but it is 5K not 4K is designed to work with Apple video card and the result is worth it.
PROS Color accurate Pixel resolution matching Smooth vertical adjusting of screen/overall build quality Single cable convenience CONS Black levels not as good as even Macbook 60hz NEUTRAL Price (I bought refurbished for $300 savings) Speakers are very good *for down-facing design*. My $40 external speakers still sound better because they face me Webcam is intentionally wide angle for greater views when sharing, but suffers in image quality for this reason The pros were enough to justify my purchase, but the poor black levels for a monitor of this price make me not *love* this monitor
Have you got an Apple Studio Display ? What do you think about it ?
I don't Yet. Question how much heat comes out of the top grill? and does it make any noise? fans?

Good video, cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it !

Thanks a lot ! For sure we will get 120hz with the next update
ProMotion 120hz on a new 27" Apple Display would cause me to empty my wallet, come on Apple what do you want? I'll pay it. PLEASE
I heard that the Studio Display should be due for an update around 2026, ProMotion 120hz will be there for sure.
underrated
@@jpedrothejo Thank you !
When will they release a new apple studio display?
Rumor has it that it’s due for an update around 2026
Great video--thanks and I'm a subscriber now!
Awesome, thank you !
Very good video 🙏🏼 Keep going!
Thank you so much !

Glad that we agree on these points. The Studio Display is a great monitor.
you didn’t get the relationship between PPI and scaling right
but yeah the Studio Display is your safest bet
Let's see what the new 27 inch 5K Asus PA27JCV will bring.
Seems like a solid choice !
Hey man! Do you edit videos yourself, or have you hired someone? would love to discuss, if you’re interested.
@@AbdulRahim-cu7y Hello man, I do everything myself. Are you an editor ?
@@DreySantesson Yes I am. If you want help with editing, let me know.
@@AbdulRahim-cu7yI will keep you in mind thanks !
@@DreySantesson Cool! have a great day.
How the hell do you have so few subs!?…😳.. I would’ve guessed 50,000 first…
in what scenario are you using PS, LR and Davinci at the same time and whatever other apps you have running. It's unrealistic
I’m editing my next video now and I’ve got all 3 of them running because I’m working on an animation

Thanks for the comment. I find the black level really good, have you tried or seen any other Studio Display for reference ?
