Above the Sky has everything that I like of power metal , it is delightful and simply marvelous. Tommy is a very talented singer and has a prodigious voice, capable of reaching very high note. ( and great composer, instrument player)The music is great and perfect to sing along with the band( all the members are very talented). The instrumental parts here are exceptional, Majestica music is passion, power and epiciness. We love and we need Majestica in our life.

The Grand Master Musician Tommy Johansson and his band mates bro. The bassists solo is nuts. The drums are insane. Tommy’s vocals and lead guitar are jaw dropping.

Come December you have to do Majestica's Christmas Album. I would also like you to do Tommy's covers of Christmas songs. Last year he did one every day up to Christmas Eve, 24 songs.

Majestica is one of my favourite bands (with Sabaton and Nightwish), they are amazing. Tommy started the band back in 2002 (called ReinXeed then) when he and his 2 friends recorded their first song Future Land. Majestica recorded the song later and both versions are on Majestica album Above The Sky. Fun fact: album cover for Above The Sky album was designed by Tommy's Sabaton bandmate Chris Rörland. Lot of band members changed through the years but Chris David (bass) and Alex Oriz (guitar) have been with Tommy since 2012. Alex sadly had to quit the band in 2021 due to injury to his hand. Today Majestica are: Tommy, Chris, Petter Hjerpe (guitar) and Joel Kollberg (drums). To see them all I suggest the song Metal United. I also agree with other their album Christmas Carol is a must. It's a metal adaptation of Charles Dickens story and it's amazing. Other songs I recommend for start are Rising Tide and Night Call Girl.

Your next rabbit hole……..check out Majestica’s bass player’s channel. His name is Chris David. He has his own band called Wizdoom. “Way of the Lost is a great starting point. He also has a phenomenal voice!!!! Chris and Tommy are good friends and you’ll see Chris make guest appearances on a few of Tommy’s songs

Love it. Live this summer I got goosebumps all over from that intro and that memory makes me smile every time I hear it. The energy is there form the first nanosecond.
This song is a tribute to Eagle Fly Free by Helloween so you will find bits and pieces of it in this one. Tommy is so good at that, weaving it in to his own style. And the drummer Uli Kusch is an ex. Helloween drummer (not in the band today but was recording this).

It's literally a song about a song, a tribute to "Eagle Fly Free" by Helloween. The song structure is almost identical. Few reactors want to dig deeper than the last five or ten years though, but they are the blueprint for this style of metal. Like all these modern Japanese bands everyone reacts to had their road paved by X Japan and Loudness, but nobody ever reacts to them.
