Part 3 - The Nut
The jig that I use for the nut is an adaption of Woodsmith Plans Wood Threading Jig. Here is their video:

That's an impressive rig thank you for sharing it. I have taps and dies up to one as recorded in inches but tend not to go above that simply because they're just too damn expensive but this looks like a really good machines to make and pretty much choose your own, size thread, great job, thank you. Best wishes from Spain.
Amazing work. You're such an inspiration. Truly blessed.

Nicely done. I enjoyed watching your videos and your bench looks quite impressive as well. When you have time, you should do a bench tour video. Thanks for sharing your ideas and god bless you as well.
Thanks Nick, thanks for the idea of a bench tour. Good idea, will do that soon.
Beste benadering wat ek tot dusver gesien het. Baie goeie werk, dankie
Plesier Philip!
Well presented video and beautiful work. That wood looks so nice, I wonder if we have something similar in the uk
Nice work man. Amazing!!!
Fantastic video. Beautiful work.
Great stuff. WELL done
Dankie Henk!
Великолепное решение!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you attach the nut to the jig? Double-sided tape, or tape and glue?
@mouritsen2, I use 2 screws to attach the nut to the jig.
Briljant
Where did you get the router bit from? I want to get one made for myself. I can't find any here. The magnate bit is no good because it has a shaft sticking out the top for the bearing that would still interfere with cutting the threads.
Hi Joe,
I bought the replaceable carbide cutters from Amazon. Then I asked my local engineering shop to make it for me.
Ill take one legvice screw :)
Do you selling it?
Yes, but only in South Africa. It is a lot of hassle to export wood products out of South Africa.
