There are two cards glued together. When you fold it you only unfold one layer to rip off then with your teeth unfold the original corner.
There are not 2 cards glued together. After this trick is finished anyone can examine the card and take it home if they want. Examine it to yoir hearts content, you wont find a card glued to it or anything else to it.

At 00:27 seconds you can see he hands her a card that his not the original card that she had signed. She had signed a red hearts card. Also this card has no signature on it. You can see a few seconds before the time stamp that he avoids letting her see the card as she gets it back he switches the original card out.

James Wise Magic I mean not everyone does the trick the same way. Also you can literally see it’s a different card. The card she signed was red and when he flips the card in hand after blowing on it, it is black
@@detectivedevitoIt's the same card. What you're seeing is shadows from the studio lights. It's already a trick card and she knows it, it's why she's careful not to show off the back when she initially takes it (holding it like it's radioactive). I'd bet they only discovered in rehearsals that the studio lights might reveal the trick, which is why we don't see him do a shuffle and force the card and instead just hands it to her.
And here's the thing -- the card he hands her after the signing, from the moment he hands it to her, is plainly visible in her hand the entire time with no chance or opportunity for a switch. And that card, when turned over, is the red card she signed.

Have you tried them? I've debated picking up a deck of them every now and then, but was never sure since "celebrity signature" stuff tends to be just a marketing gimmick rather than a mark of quality. However, at the same time I feel NPH would probably have a level of standards he would expect from a deck with his name on it. If you tried them would you recommend them?

She's certainly in on it, because when she's holding the card she's extremely careful about holding it face-up (and like it's radioactive) to cut down on the odds of the studio lights giving away the trick card (though you can briefly see the 'seam' at 0:29 when he hands it back to her).

This trick was too obvious though. You can see the line on the card before he even bends it. And that's just one of the things that gave the entire trick away, there are many other "tells" that give it away.

If someone wants to know how he did it i can tell you if you cant see the solution your self.

There are two cards on the girls hand. Then he bends them both but only rises the top car back (this card is not the 10 of diamonds) then rips that card and eats the part. When he puts his mouth around to card he flips the bottom cards bended part back up. That why you can see a clear mark after he makes the card appear.

Given that this was made for a TV show (and apparently a charity event so it might have been live), there's a decent chance circumstances forced them to shave a few seconds off the segment for timing.
Even more likely, they only discovered in rehearsals that the studio lights could give away the nature of the trick card, so he wanted to limit the back's visibility as much as he could get away with (so no shots where the trick card is already face-down on top of the deck).

Watching this in 2020 is absurd. I cringed when she blew on it, then he put it in his mouth, then he put his mouth on the card she was holding THEN SHE TOUCHED THE PART OF THE CARD THAT WAS IN HIS MOUTH.
