- The bourbon trail is a fantastic experience! This trip we got to visit the @jimbeam distillery in Clermont, KY. They really make every effort for you to enjoy your time and feel at welcome. I hope you enjoy the highlights from my visit, including: getting to meet some bourbon legends!!
Did you do the "Behind the beam" experience $350 one? Or something else? Can regular tours do the knob creek bottle your own? Thanks
It was just the regular tour, you can bottle your own during that tour. The dinner event was something completely separate.
We did this tour last week. Our guide said you can't drink out of the glass, but he was going to turn the other way and he can't control what happened when he wasn't looking. I drank out of the glass :)

Doing the Maturation matters tour in November where they take you into the rickhouse and let you sample from a barrel. Hoping this is a good tour too! I’d love to meet Baker, Fred or Freddie. Cheers!

The tour and the dinner were two separate events. The tour was their standard $20 distillery tour. The dinner was a special event. Apparently they have dinners like that every few months

Awesome! It’s a great time. They definitely didn’t have the 15yr. I can’t remember if they had the 12yr or not. I think the 18yr was only available to people who went to the dinner. Might be different now.
Did they have Knob Creek 12 year for sale at the distillery? Planning a trip soon and really want to find some 12 year KC.
I think they did, but I don’t recall there being a bunch. If you can’t get it there, should be able to snag it at a nearby liquor store
