Mr.Keith was very good in " The Philadelphia Story," playing Paul Newman's father. Mr.Keith was very good in any part he played. He came across as a decent,kind,sincere human being.

I loved when he played Uncle Bill on Family Affair. The affection he showed toward the child actors, Kathy Garvey, Anissa Jones and Johnny Whitaker was so genuine and tender.

He was grieving the loss of his daughter from a few weeks before. That is something you never get over. Through that into the mix with lung cancer, emphysema and financial problems would make anyone question why go on? I feel terrible he felt so desperate and was in such despair.
