Steel Pulse formed in 1975 in Birmingham, England. The original member were David Hinds, Basil Gabbidon. Ronald McQueen, Selwyn Brown and Colin Gabbidon. Steel Pulse were the first non-Jamaican reggae group/artist to win a Grammy for Best Reggae Album. They won Best Reggae Album for “Babylon The Bandit.”
