This was fun!! Thank you, Natisha. No one in my circle really wants to hear about my bibles..🙃they do not understand my love for journaling God's Word.
1. My keepers...
The ESV Jesus Bible would be my reader; its a fast read, full of Jesus nuggets.
The ESV Study Bible; does it need to be justified😂?
HosannaRevival ESV Helena is my journaling bible. She is just wonderful.
2. I count 5 translations on my shelf.
3. ESV is my favorite for reading and studying.
4. I am doing the Bible Recap plan this year, so I am reading and studying at the same time.
5. My bibles are all dressed with tabs😂.
6. Leathersoft has always been my favorite cover, but I am loving this HosannaRevival suede right now.
7. Tyndale's Inspire Praise was one of my first purchases...the NLT is very easy to understand and its fun to color!!
8. I use mildliners to highlight and the pentel energels are my go to pens right now. My pages are all marked up🤭.
9. I do not have a separate commentary.
10. Nothing stays in the car, but I do keep a tote packed ready to go if I think I will have a chance to read my bible.
11. I do not have a devotional bible. I do enjoy the articles in my KJV Womans Study Bible from Thomas Nelson...
12. Purple is the color I look for when I am looking for a bible😅.
13. The ESV Spiral Bible Set is on my wishlist.
14. Crossway...got to have my ESV😁.
15. The worst purchase ever...the ESV Journaling Study Bible. My mom told me to order my Christmas gift...I ended up wrapping the HosannaRevival one so she thinks that is what she gave me!! The font is way too small and the paper is like tissue paper. Not good for reading or writing in.

CZcams has allowed me to express my Bible enjoyment with others because my loved ones outside of the internet be looking at me crazy! Im just over here enjoying God's word for sure. I really loved reading your responses to the questions and I do appreciate you answering them. Thanks for the heads up about the ESV journaling study Bible and you are right about the ESV study Bible being good! It is full of good study resources. LOL to wrapping your Hosanna Revival Bible so that your mom thinks that is the one she got you, I love it!
I also got the Rainbow Bible and didn't use it. Just wasn't my thing. Gave it to my friend
Yeah, honestly it’s beautiful in the inside and thats about it! Didn’t really help me with my studying journey and its definitely going to given away real soon.
I just subscribed! I will answer to join in on the fun, but giving a warning I’m like Brand new! (Like April of this year!) So it’s going to be very boring! 😂 I too have no one to talk to about how much I’ve been loving being in my Bible my family looks at my like im crazy 😢so im excited that I found your page!! Here it goes…
1. I have 4 Bibles- I would keep my girls life application study bible NLT because it’s the First bible I purchased for myself years ago when I thought I would get into it but never did. 😅 but now I have been. I use this one for reading, studying etc.
2. I Have NLT, NIV and ESV translations
3. I use NLT to read and study and ESV to study
4. I read and study at the same time. I have bible study’s from daily grace co in Esv and cross way journal books in esv I study in but will also read my NLT while studying too.
5. Right now I NEED bible tabs… we will see as I grow in my journey how I feel about them, but they are also really cute! IMO
6. I prefer leather like, or leather but that is kind of pricey.
7. While since I’m new and the one that’s been the best for me so far has been the TYNDALE girls life application study Bible. I’d say that one. Lol
8. I’m more of a highlighter with minimal pen use so far
9. I do no have different commentaries. (Which ones do you have?)
10. I have a Bible bag that stays in car for church so it’s always in there and ready for when we go to service
11. I’m not sure, never had one yet.
12. I’d have to say purple. Because 2 are purple lol one was gifted. I have one pink and one blue.
13. I would say a journal bible- maybe inspire- and a KJV translation because thats what my pastor preaches in at church and I would love to follow along in the Same translation.
14. I have two bibles from tyndale so I’m going to go with that 🤷♀️😂 I have one from zondervan and one from crossway as well

2- NIV Journal the word bible for women (I use this one at church right now).. didn’t realize it was a journaling bible! 😂
3- Esv Compact crossway bible (gifted to make a prayer Bible)
4- NLT compact TYNDALE bible

Thanks for doing the tag! I agree with you that NLT is good for reading and ESV is good for studying. Thought for thought translations are just easier to read. Bible tabs are a fun way to dress Bibles. Tapping into the creative side of things. For Commentaries I have 3 (Tony Evans, Moody and the Bible Knowledge) and I would recommend all 3 of them 💖. 💜💗purple and pink are my jam! Holman publishing has a really nice KJV study Bible thats not huge that I would recommend for you to take to church, its on lifeway.com in the clearance section the last time I checked.

1. Reading: ESV The New Inductive Study Bible (our church uses the ESV so I like to know what the Bible says in that translation.)
Study: NKJV Study Bible
Journaling: I don't have a Journaling Bible.
2. I have 4 translations, but I mostly use the 2 I just listed.
3. Reading: ESV or NKJV (I like to memorize verses from the ESV, so as to be consistent with our church).
4. I like to read and study at the same time.
5. I don't really use Bible tabs too much. Only one of my 6 Bibles has them.
6. My favorite is hardback.
7. If someone from our church who was a new believer or youth/young adult, I would recommend the ESV, to easily follow what we learn in church. For someone else, I really don't know.
8. I don't really write in or underline in or highlight in my Bibles, but it is something I'm considering doing.
9. I only have one book that I think might be a commentary. I haven't used it much, because I really prefer to use the notes from my NKJV Study Bible. The commentary (?) Is called "Adventuring Through the Bible ", by Ray C. Stedman. I like to have it in case I decide to use it.
10. I don't have a car! I have thought seriously about buying a compact ESV to fit in my purse.
11. I'm not really into devotional Bibles, but I have considered getting a CSB She Reads Truth. I think that's a devotional Bible, but I'm not sure.
12. 5 out of 6 of my Bibles are hardback. They don't seem to have a consistent color scheme.
13. Wish list: considering getting a compact ESV and/or CSB She Reads Truth (or other CSB).
14. I honestly don't know which publisher I prefer.
15. The only regret I have is that I wish I had bought an NLT in hardback instead of paperback. I just prefer it.
16. I can't think of any other questions right now.

I am firm believer of having a Bible translation that is the same from the one your pastor preaches from. It makes it so much easier to follow along especially during scripture reading time and Bible study. Check out lifeway.com under the clearance tab for inexpensive prices on CSB bibles. I have the She Reads Truth Bible and its heavy on Devotionals along with the Incourage Bible, just something to keep in mind when you are shopping.

Hello, the one that I showed is the Tony Evans Study Bible in the CSB translation. It also comes in the NASB translation in which the study resources are the same just a different translation (word for word instead of a hybrid between word for word and thought for thought). I also tend to use other study Bibles simultaneously when studying and I can give you the name of them if you like?
