All otters are beautiful, but to me, Aty is a one of a kind! I love his face and energy! What a beautiful precious gift to his dad (and to all of us)!🥰
I find them absolutely amazing creatures. Just don’t read about their mating behavior nor their dark sides sometimes. We all have dark sides, the otters i guess is that much more so because of how cute they the rest of the time.
But honestly with how they love to play and be clever it is hard not to like them.
Similar to all Mustelidae family, they are tougher then they look, smart, but at the same time can be vicious against other animals in their area... from the smallest of them stouts, ferrets, martins, etc, to the biggest in the family, badgers, sea otters and wolverines, they all share those similiar traits.... tough, really tough, killing prey much bigger them, and they frankly can be ruthless killers at times.... still like them but after watching several videos of their behaviour my opinion of what they are changed quite a bit...

Reminds me of the time an opossum was stuck on a fence when I was skipping school near a trail. He squeeked at me at first and looked like he wanted to bite me but I just picked him up and I had a can of greenbeans in my backpack so I opened it up and we just munched on greenbeans for an hour or so. Than we split ways
I once said "Hi" to a rat passing by and it stood up for a moment and looked at me confused. 😂
