Good stuff dude! This is one of my favorite lakes! I live about 20 minutes from it and know that lake inside and out! If you ever wanna get on some good smallies lemme know I can tell you where to go!
Here's a tip for early season walleye. Use a 3 way swivel a pencil sinker and clouser. Walleye will smash that fly on the buttom bouncing.

I’d love to see you fellas do an Iowa trip bassin before Minnesota opens. Start at boji and work down to the Creston lakes. Boji just had a 31 pound bag weighed last weekend 👀. The creston lakes routinely take over 20 pounds to win derbs. Be fun to see you guys fish lakes I fish a lot of derbs on.

Another tip if u guys fish in SD, use Xrap, buck tail, n rooster tail anything with fur on lures is gonna get smash.

I use sufix 832 braid for almost all my set ups but I always have trouble cutting it with like a normal scissors
