I think if Shaq did not have money, he worked as a truck driver or any thing he would still show compassion to people. I believe it is not money that makes him generous but his heart.
Linnet Mbotto truck drivers make bank girl😂
AGREED
Comes down to what he said in the video. “Good parenting”
I agree 💯☎️
@@redface8764 What is the definition of "bank" to you?
my Shaq story, I work for NBC here in Houston, and we had the All-star game one year. Back stage at the shark bar, everyone wanted a pic with Shaq, SO i'm holding everyone's phone taking their pics, and when they were done everyone scattered, I'm like damn I wanted a pics too, then Shaq said hold on, let me take a pic with my man first. so of course everyone was rushing to get my phone so they can take the pic, Classy guy
Botak Bishop one joke vs all the stuff hes done for people combined? Shaq could make fun of that guy everyday and hed still be an amazing person
Botak Bishop holding a grudge is like drinking a vile of poison and expecting the other person to die, hes done more for people than you ever have bud stay in your lane dont pull that religious malarky on me
Botak Bishop seem pretty full of hate to be continuously denouncing all the good hes done for some cult thats probably responsible for less deaths throughout time than whatever book your praying to did
Botak Bishop you care too much about something that doesnt affect you. Shouldnt yiu be saying that it isnt your job to judge shaq? Isnt god the only one who should judge?
Botak Bishop your nuts pal
Shaq was known in Baton Rouge for leaving huge tips and giving homeless ppl money.
Shaq gave away "huge" gifts. I was sworn to secrecy several times as he didn't want to be noted for his act of kindness.
ashdoglsu that’s what people see is Shaq with money give his money away, hmm I feel sorry people
Yea I was getting gas after work during homecoming week in baton rogue. he pulled in driving a black hummer. Paid for everyone’s gas signed some autographs and drove off.
Botak Bishop your a bot aren’t you?
really? met a taxi driver once who gave shaq a ride and got $0 tip.
Shaq's parents did a good job. They probably spent lots on groceries too.
Lol
I bet they came out on top
I think basketball get him out of troubles.
@e G wrong actually he has 2.1 billion net worth
He’s talked openly about his step-father beating him and telling him “I’ll kill you”
Graham is an amazing interviewer, he starts off the story and passes it off to his guest and sits back and listens without interrupting.... clearly one of the best!!!!
Shaq has the best heart, a gentle loving giant.
However he's dumb like 98% of you (except ruling 1% destroying you & Ron Paul 1% that's trying to save you).
Feeding sick kid with more chemicals & life killers in those "pebbles" is way to go Shack !
@@fafura13 u r a dumbass
Ivan Rus mi
Ivan Rus - what you're doing is CLASSICAL exaggeration and muddying the waters. Ron Paul's smarts and chemicals have nothing to do with visiting a sick child. While we're on the subject, why don't you go and bring some carrots and boiled broccoli to an AIDS children's ward next time since you're so @#$%^&* smart. And when the child is on their last legs, try stuffing the broccoli into their mouth and talk about government and deep state and all those other things. MORON!
Shaq's father was a good man
He wasn't his actual father, but he raised him like his own and he raised him to hold himself up to morals and expectations that many struggle to align themselves with.
Mohamoud Mohamed he was his father in every sense of the word.
Mohamoud Mohamed "He took him from a boy to a man...Phil is his father because his biological didn't bother."
Shaq's real father was a deadbeat
This is why you he isnt hated and broke. One of the good ones.
Very sincere
So true. Jesus Blessed you so you can be a Blessings to others
Exactly!@@!!!! God bless.
Ture story
He was raised right. Military family
I can listen to Shaq whole day long.
I agree 100%

PREACH!
If every nba player was like Shaq, the world would be a better place, dude is truly a good man when it comes to community.
Not just NBA players but wealthy people.
Not just NBA players and wealthy people, but EVERYONE. We all have a little to give. It doesn't always have to be money.
yall tryna give me something?
There are many of them. Same in football. Media likes to promote the bad seeds though.

"That's my thing, I just wanna make you smile" powerful words from a truly humble feller. Man deserves anything an everything good that comes his way. Proper respect
Incredibly rich, but also incredibly generous. He's a real legend, an ICON.
You just made me smile. Your a good man Shaquille O'Neal and I'm proud of you and don't even know ya!! True test of a humble man is to do something good for those in need or anyone for that matter when no one is looking, and , don't tell anyone. God is watching....that's all that really matters. A+ for you young man👍
Thank you for your comment 😇
just do it forget about god or whose watching.. your fuckin watchin when u look back on your life and see good or bad
MrMBB333, he made fun of a diasbled person
preach
wabi sabi, doesn't take away from years of selfless acts...
I Love that. “All I wanna do is make you smile.” That’s deep.
Many years ago, I was at a store. The only people in that store was me and a father with his 7ish yeah old son. Shaq walked in and the child immediately recognized him. Shaq noticed the dreamy look on the child’s face. So, he walked over to the child, messed up his hair (lol) and kneeled down to have a conversation with the kid. No one was around, he didn’t have to do that, but he’s shaq. He’s an incredible person.
His parents definitely taught him great morals and values. This is why I've always admired Shaq!
Thank You
I admire this guy so much that he makes me cry, seriously.
I wish that one day I can do the same. Making people happy, especially the one you don't know for me is just priceless.
I dont even watch basket ball.. frekin love this guy
GOD BLESS YOU Dr.Oneal for all YOU do and represent. Much LOVE to YOU and FAMILY. I PRAY Sharif has complete recovery .FORGIVE me if I got spelling wrong.
Same
Imagine if everyone could just be kind like Shaq.
No man stands TALLER than when he bends down to help the less fortunate. God bless you BIG guy. Keep rocking it.
Much respect to shaq man
What a great guy. Genuine and humble he is a good example.
Graham the best interviewer of all time, stress free to watch your shows
A Beautiful individual with a heart of gold.
You, sir, know how to conduct an interview! NEVER QUIT!
Also, awesome of Shaq to show true humility and compassion
Love u even more now brother.. world needs more of u..
Who else teared up when he told the story about going to Los Angeles and visiting that little girl with cancer, that touched my heart, Shaq has the biggest heart on planet🌎, God bless him and that little girl...
Shaq has a big heart. He makes a huge impact in the world. At times it is his sense of humor that could put a smile on anyone’s face. Then there are other moments his generous spirit makes a big difference for those who he happens to meet by chance. Time to honor his Mom/Dad for doing an excellent job. Well done.
This dude real deal helped so many people and we don’t even support his shoes 🤦🏽♂️
Shaq is not only a sports figure, he has transcended basketball or television. His generosity had helped countless lives. He is making God smile.
A big man with a big heart. Beautiful person. Keep making them smile Shaq. The world needs more people like you.
Love Shaq, he’s an amazing man and a great example to everyone!

This man is literally a Gentle Giant! Gotta love him
Shaq is the nicest he's so humble
shag is a person that after he retired years later he is still talked about much respect
Kudos to shaq's mom & dad for raising such a honorable man. I enjoyed watching shaq durning his years playing bb. I'm so happy that you reach out to help other's in a world of uncertainty. Continue to have a kind heart and humanity will always smile with you. Best wishes to you and yours 🤗🙏
Those people that "pop up" like he said was definitely a big reference to Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and all the other pop singers who love to tweet about how good of a person they are but only do it when it's convenient for their fame.
Lady Gaga has always been part of the charitable world. Stop talking out of your ass.
Don't forget the famous CZcamsrs..
On the other hand I am sure the original poster has done immeasurable good for others....
@@tylermane77 im not a fan but yeah she does her bit too
Shaq is one of the best good hearted people I ever seen.
This is a Real man that takes his blessings and helps others
I love Shaq so much I wish I could talk to him in person
PLEASE HELP ME MET SHAQ
This is a man high up on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs
I am so glad his parents taught him right and he listened it comes from the heart
NGL... There are SO MANY times Dr. O'Neal is "seen" doing good, I never even CONSIDERED how often a guy like that must do the same things "unseen" 🤯❤️
From being on NBA GameTime, I never really like this arrogant, self-loving (in my eyes) guy... But these series are just eye-opening, thank you for sharing these so we can get a better perspective on one of the most dominant players the game has ever seen!
***** Oh, but I do. The strongest type of love. I agree.
But sometimes Shaq takes it a bit too far in my eyes, as a TV presenter that is.
+Stefan Vasilev it's called banter. get over it.
***** exactly.
Stefan Vasilev it's basketball, he's arguably the most dominate player of all-time of course he's a little arrogant
Shaq don't play games when it comes to his basketball career and legacy.
Met this man twice and truly is a regular person with a great heart and extremely generous .😉
Making people smile is his way of telling all the neigh sayers to kiss his backside. Honest, genuine good man. Does for others, not for the camera, but for others. Still this way in 2022.
I have nothing but respect for Shaq
The 2 dislikes were Charles Barkley and Alonzo Mourning
Eric Mckinney hahaha!!!
LOL those are two of his good friends lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Eric Mckinney Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley is a great person and great human being. The same goes to Zo
Graham, your interviews are incredible... I love your questions and how you listen and let the interviewees just talk.
I can testify in all truthfulness. I've been to Shaq's place a few times off Benedict Canyon Mulholland Dr. in Beverly Hills area as a limousine driver CLS for his family. He was so kind and truly generous to me. Same area Faith & Tim McGraw, Tom Arnold across his place. He's got a big kind heart. Thank you Shaq 👌
sometimes it's the little things, sometimes it's bigger but there is no better joy to your soul than helping those in need
Could you imagine what good things could be accomplished in a lot of cities if every person who made it from poverty to riches would give back to the neighborhoods where they came from! We ABSOLUTELY wouldn't need the Government to give us anything! Because we could take care of our own! God bless you Shaq!
"What're you doing, bro? Ima eat that later" 💀💀💀
Shaq you bastard you actually made me cry like a child. I wish more people had a heart as big as yours.
He has the biggest heart for sure...Good man
You're the best juvenile delinquent I ever saw, I've always had an idea that you were a giver, you just radiate that, I love you Dr.O'neall..
Shaq! You are a national treasure! I respect you tremendously!
Shaq you are truly a kind and generous human being. Helping others should be the most important priority in all of our lives. Your fame and wealth have not interfered with your genuine regard to help those in need. You are truly an inspiration to all of us. Within that spirit, I will be running across America in late March 2021 to raise funds for a non-profit organization co-founded by 1964 Olympic 10,000 meter gold medalist and U.S. Marine Billy Mills called Running Strong for American Indian Youth. This group provides numerous benefits for disadvantaged Native American youth across this nation. I will be running for the challenge/adventure, but, more importantly, to help our Native American youths get the help and support they need to escape poverty. Thanks again for the inspiration Shaq!! No, I will not be buying any General Insurance though. Robert Eilek Temecula, Ca.
The truest test of character is what a person does when nobody is watching. Dr. Shaquille O'Neal is an A+ role model.
I only found this from shaq, but the guy conducting the interview did a great job of running it, and asking the questions, may stick around for more interviews
Shaq heart > Jordan's
IBlewUponYourFace Every NBA Hall of Famer's heart > Jordan 😅
Mohit Garg Jordan is a competitor
Yes, but still an a hole....
mj is a notorious bad tipper
Jordan does a lot....the unseen thing Shaq was talking about
The gift of giving can never be put into words. It's the self satisfaction that means the most.
My 3 sons are adults now. Being a single Mom was hard and I couldn't afford "name brand" 👟sneakers for them, until I saw Shaq sneakers so affordable😱😨 I thought someone had priced them wrong. God bless you thanks Mr. Shaq.
probably the best interviewer out there ... he asks the questions and shuts up unlike other idiots that want to talk about themselves while they interview
You deserve more subscribers Graham! Great job on the vids, much love and support from Philippines.
I appreciate you checking these out from the Philippines, Asher!
Great interviews Graham! Keep'em coming. God bless you!
The true measure of a man is not by his pocket but by his heart . Shaq god blessed you with material.wealth but your heart of gold is imeasurable!
That's that dude, he understands his calling.
If only more people had half the heart Shaq does.
One of the best sports interview channels. Have watched a lot of your videos Graham. Best wishes from India.
Shaq is one of the most genuine people in the world. His giving is real and from the heart. That's the difference. Kudos big man. You're one of the GOAT'S my man. 💯
I have cancer and the chemo, radiation and surgeries, brutal surgeries are extremely hard to get through. But by far the hardest thing is going to the cancer center and seeing the kids that are patients. It's too much. Sometimes they might be too young to realise but some, you can see the fear and pain in their eyes. Some have tubes and ports coming out of them and most have lost their hair. I can't hardly take it. I don't have much to give but every Christmas a very generous friend and I put together little gift bags for me to give out since chemotherapy infusions get done 24/7 365 days a year. They get a little bit of joy and takes their mind off of what they are there for.
Cancer is a horrible thing to experience and it's effected everybody in some way.
It's awesome that Shaq is so generous and if a Jeff besos or a richard branson would invest their money and resources then childhood cancer could be eradicated.
Hands down one of the best human beings the lord Jesus ever blessed this earth with
Chill
He is a muslim so technically allah did it
He's not a Muslim, he was just raised by a Muslim dad...
In some ways we can say that he is like a co or half Muslim LOL
The Evil Eye sure I don’t care what religion he is, seems like a kind man who believes in giving back to society. That’s good enough.
Great work mate keep it up god has blessed you 👍❤️
Shaq you are the NICEST, most KINDNESS guy with a HUGE heart and love for people!!! Thank you for your example!!!
A big man with a big heart ❤️
“I just want to make you smile”
Blessed to be a Blessing
😎
I respect this side of Shaq - always do good whether people see you or not! Bible teaches this!
That's exactly how you're supposed to give. I'd just like to meet the man and thank him for being him.
When I was a kid in grade school I remember at the end of morning announcements some kid would always say “character is what you do when no one else is watching”. For the longest time I never knew what that meant. As I got older I realized what Shaq was talking about here and I finally understood what that kid was saying every morning.
Hey mr. Shaq, I'm a big x laker fan thank u for everything u did, do and continue to do. You are truly one of s kind, I'LL ALWAYS have your back.! I KNOW IT'S A BIG BACK but God works in mysterious ways! Much love and RESPECT.
Wow awesome interviews Graham
Graham the GOAT
Giving with a pure heart and motives. The key to the overflow blessing.
We need more ppl like Shaq in this world. He is man with a beautiful heart. Kudos to his parents for teaching him good things.
Damn. Mad respect to shaq
God is leading you to help others. Matthew 6:3 right hand, left hand. Thank you for helping those around you! God Bless!
Shaq is a perfect example of good things happening to kind, good people
shaq...trinidad here...youu always bring tears to my eyes....humility oh my good go...it comes back to parenting..
.
Respect
don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Love Shaw, he’s humble, generous, kind, and always thinks of others. May God bless him and keep him safe.
How different this world would be, if we all had this kind of heart, May God continue to bless you.
You might have given in secret, Shaq but God saw you and loved you for it. Those who give to others so men can see them and praise them already have their reward.
They are exactly as you described.
You have yet to receive yours so be as God would have you be. We can do no more in life then to live as Jesus would have wanted us to.
People give to be seen, (some). That's wrong, you give from your heart. God sees and knows everything. Your blessing will come from above.
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
Matthew 6:2
Love U Man✌and Mad Repect.
True, there is nothing more satisfying than to se the smile of a child that gets happy.
You are tremendous and we all love you brother and know that you are so kind to everyone.
Graham, are you affiliated with a big company? What allows you to get these interviews? Are you just that savvy?
I had a co-worker once tell me she ran into Shaq outside of a blockbuster (this was years ago) Well Shaq was stuck out there because his bodyguard locked the keys in the car. My friend said she was struck by the fact that Shaq wasn’t mad in fact he was friendly to everyone who approached him.
Joey's World Why in the hell would shaq need a bodyguard lol
Jose Lopez I've less problem to worry about. Just bec he's big as fuck lol doesn't mean he doesn't need a bodyguard
I feel the true care in his voice, body, soul. I love his humble side, gentleness, he gives back, not just money but time, energy, attention... That can make a person that is down on their luck feel like a million bucks. RESPECT! As the world is buzzing by everyone people can feel overwhelmed, lost and sad but someone who stops, shows compassion, does not judge, criticize, or lecture but simply takes time to listen, engage and smile makes the world a better place one person at a time.
If more people were like Shaq, the world would be a better place.
