Im 62 and have been really getting into makeup lately! I love that Mandy doesnt shy away from drugstore, not just watching content raving about something the influencer was sent. I really love your makeup today, and agree about Colourpop, 11:11 is my favorite and I just ordered 2 more during their sale, (Blush Crush and Going Coconuts).
Amen to that! I am here for the drugstore videos. one apple is $2.50 and 8 ounces of blueberries is seven dollars here in the state of good old Maryland. my make up right now cannot be high end.
The biggest problem I have with blush, eyeshadow etc packaging from the drugstore is that the lids usually break which is very annoying. I don’t want to have to put a rubber band around them. Right now I have 3 different brands that all have broken lids.

Hi Mandy! Suggestion! A black binder clip (found at any Dollar Tree store, 10 for $1.25, will solve the problem of inexpensive product packaging. The clips keep the product airtight and take up no room in your makeup bag or organizer. I love your beauty on a budget approach to purchasing cosmetics without sacrificing quality and purpose. My favorite contour is the e.l.f. Halo Glow contour wand in fair/light. I’m a pasty white Irish girl, and it’s the only contour that looks natural on me.

I recently discovered Neutragena radiant creamy concealer. Decent dupe for Nars radiant creamy concealer. I had used the Neutragena tint for years. I love the Elf cream blushes. They stay on me all day!
I did like the Colourpop That’s Taupe palette, but there really isn’t a brow highlight shade in there for me because my skin is so fair. I think that L’Oreal offers really nice singles in the color race range, but most drugstore eyeshadows, including those from wet and wild are pretty disappointing. L’Oreal is my go-to for lipstick and foundation at the drugstore. Revlon is great for lip glasses and blushes which are pigmented, smooth and beautiful.
I just ordered and received a NARS foundation today and tried it on my 69;year old skin. This foundation is amazing and everything else went to the trash. I even got the perfect match from an on line vendor.
I am 46 and have extraordinarily dry skin. The ELF glow foundation is absolute heaven on my complexion. It lasts long enough, I’m not exactly wearing foundation for 24 hours in a row anyway. My other favorite is the Maybelline super stay 24 hour skin tint!
Thank you for sharing. I will check these as my skin is also very dry. I have been using Maybeline Dream Liquid Mousse. It is so old that I don't know if they still make it though😊
My favs are the wet in wild tinted moisturizer. I’m on my 2nd tube of it and I just love the way it makes my skin look so healthy but not greasy. I pair it with my favrite primer the nyx plump right back primer. Also on my 2nd tube of that ;) I have tried so many setting sprays and my favorite is still the Catrice multi talent fixing spray. And I’m on my 2bd nyx HD finishing powder. Just hit pan on my 2nd one!
Love the reference to the Milani bronzing powder. I've recently discovered an older Flower Beauty formula powder bronzer/contour in a three-pan kit with a pink blush and a gorgeous highlighter. This was at one of my local TJMaxx along with several of the Heatwave bronzers in L1 Sunrise. $3.99 each, for both products! I was surprised to see the Heatwave product there - I wonder if it's being discontinued? I picked up one as a backup, as I absolutely love this for my fair/cool skin. But now, I'm in love with the three-pan contour color...Thanks for the video!

My Maybelline lash sensational is also almost waterproof but washes off easily and it lengthens and volumizes my lashes so it's my holy grail. As for shadows between Sydney Grace and ColourPop I'm hoping to save some money and not buy Natasha Denona (if I can resist). Sydney Grace is by far the best higher end (still affordable) and ColourPop is the best drugstore IMHO. Thanks, Mandy!
So your packaging problems made me chuckle, as I have been tempted to take a high powder or bronzer that I’m not using, remove the product and place the poorly packaged drugstore product inside. Add alcohol and press to settle. I do like nice packaging. 😊

So sad to say I returned the pat mcgrath eye palette after standing in a long line at Marshalls 😢becuz it only had 1 light color and the shimmers had too much fall out even with shimmer primer. That's my rant! 😡🥸😭Luv ya❤

The minute you said the Flower beauty bronzer was a bit purply I was sold. I found those undertones look amazing on my cool olive skin. It’s rare to find. The balm has one I love The Desert I believe it’s called. I wish I could discover more.
I love that bronzer and you were the one that turned me onto it! I have a light medium skin with a cool undertone, and the formula is buildable. It works about 8 months of the year.

I use many of these already because of you, and it sounds like I need to get some flower beauty product as I’ve never tried. I do struggle to get the SkyHigh mascara off at the end of the day, but I think I may have the waterproof so I’m gonna look for an alternative.

I bet the elf hydrating camo concealer in golden beige would be good for you we are about the same color im not sure about the black tube of sky high but the pink one is waterproof i love it use it all the the time
Mandy, I have trouble with dry skin in the winter months. I just found your videos and tried the Milani Conceal & Perfect foundation along with the "Kindness" blush by Revolution. What a difference it made! would have never tried the more brownish shade if I hadn't seen it on you. The brow color works so well, also. I love, love your silver earrings in this video! I don’t know if I told you but I did get the ND glam face pallet in the light shade and I love it it’s like a warm pink matte cream blush yum idk if you would like it I’m more olive and orange and I die my hair black idk
Love the colourpop shadows. I own too many of these. No more eyeshadow for a long time. My fave right now is their Rudolph palette. Such a nice colourstory. Have you looked at it? Also love the essence highlighter, and revolution reloaded highlighter. Do agree the essence one is very delicate. I shattered mine, and had to repress it. Also still a tiny bit crumbly. For mascara I tried several times with the lash princess green tube. Just never worked for me. Did learn a tip about warming the tube up against your body as you're doing your makeup. Since it's a beeswax formula. I do see skyhigh recommend all the time, along with the milani tubing mascara. I'm going to look into the essence baked blushes. Those are very pretty. Last but not least. You never did eyeliner. Do you only use the wet n wild brand? I bought two of their pencils. They go on really well. Plus last all day. Have you tried the essence stay&play gel liner? That is my go to.
I would love to know if you have a dupe for the Fenty lip gloss in the shade fussy. Me to I always burn myself when I bake especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. I cook regularly however every Thanksgiving and Christmas I burn myself. I have a painful one now on the back of my rt. Thumb.

Neutrogena also makes a color corrector in same packaging. It's great!!

You should try the Sky High mascara with the Sky High mascara primer!

The essence princess mascara flakes off. I use the orange one from essence and it doesn’t do that.

I am SO GLAD I came across your comment on Thats Taupe packaging. I've been wanting that pallet all year & thats the reason I'm turned off (maybe its the Christian in me as well with the snake) so I bought the Of Quartz instead . Saving for my 1st Natasha Denona I need a nude to make up for it lol

I use many of these already because of you, and it sounds like I need to get some flower beauty product as I’ve never tried. I do struggle to get the SkyHigh mascara off at the end of the day, but I think I may have the waterproof so I’m gonna look for an alternative.

Mandy, I have trouble with dry skin in the winter months. I just found your videos and tried the Milani Conceal & Perfect foundation along with the "Kindness" blush by Revolution. What a difference it made! would have never tried the more brownish shade if I hadn't seen it on you. The brow color works so well, also. I love, love your silver earrings in this video! I don’t know if I told you but I did get the ND glam face pallet in the light shade and I love it it’s like a warm pink matte cream blush yum idk if you would like it I’m more olive and orange and I die my hair black idk
Love the colourpop shadows. I own too many of these. No more eyeshadow for a long time. My fave right now is their Rudolph palette. Such a nice colourstory. Have you looked at it?
Also love the essence highlighter, and revolution reloaded highlighter. Do agree the essence one is very delicate. I shattered mine, and had to repress it. Also still a tiny bit crumbly.
For mascara I tried several times with the lash princess green tube. Just never worked for me. Did learn a tip about warming the tube up against your body as you're doing your makeup. Since it's a beeswax formula. I do see skyhigh recommend all the time, along with the milani tubing mascara.
I'm going to look into the essence baked blushes. Those are very pretty.
Last but not least. You never did eyeliner. Do you only use the wet n wild brand? I bought two of their pencils. They go on really well. Plus last all day. Have you tried the essence stay&play gel liner? That is my go to.
I actually think LA Colors High Shine Lip Gloss is amazing and you get TONS of product in those for super cheap.

I would love to know if you have a dupe for the Fenty lip gloss in the shade fussy. Me to I always burn myself when I bake especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. I cook regularly however every Thanksgiving and Christmas I burn myself. I have a painful one now on the back of my rt. Thumb.
