I've been struggling to start actually learning to draw.
I've never been good at it as a kid and just like most kids I gave up. Now that I want to learn as an adult, I can see what my child self was going through. It is almost as if a part of your brain is working overdrive to make up excuses and reasons to not try.
I hope just leaning into it as you said can make it easier to defeat my self-talk
