If she wasn't respectful, she would hit a harsher tone about Pia Maria's vocalists abilities or make quotation marks with her fingers whenever she's mentioning her vocals (or whenever she calls her a singer, a vocalist or is pointing out that Pia Maria sang something). Alesia is way more calm and reserved than I would have been in her situation. But maybe that's also because I'm Austrian myself and was rightfully worried about my own country not qualifying for the 3rd time in a row.
I feel so sorry for her...As a Romania 2021 enthusiast my heart breaks knowing a situation like this could happen again...I hope they will do better in the semi-final!

@@SherlockH85 They are not toxic comment. Alesia is saying it how it is. I absolutely love the song and it is by far in my top 10 in the studio cuts. But in relation to the live performance, it doesn’t meet up to my expectations

@@SherlockH85 I totally disagree with that unnecessary comment. Alesia tells you as she sees it, if you don't want honesty then don't watch her videos. Alesia is far from mean, she is respectful and takes on others points of view. Maybe you should watch Alesia's videos after all and learn some decorum.

yall are kind of dramatic. its not horrible it can still qualify. also its called REHEARSALS for a reason. they are supposed to adjust things and they will change the mixing. I think there shouldnt be any people from press in the hall while the acts are rehearsing its just easier for the artists
it just discourages the artists to actually improve with all the negative feedback..

No joke i could see the entire jury blanking this leaving it with 0 points I mean the only notes i heard hit correctly throughout that third run came out of alesias mouth. Tragic.
I still think this can qualify, I don't mind the vocals, what I don't like is that their vocals are clashing, they don't go together too well, but the song is good enough for it to go through. It's the Eurovision Song Contest afterall, not The Voice, if Moldova qualified last year, this could be in the final
Moldova’s vocal was stronger and they had jury support. Idk if the jury will help this- we will see.
I like that you are being honest. I see a lot of people making excuses for her bad vocals... some that are fair, like having had covid and being inexperienced on stage. But the jury (and maybe even the public) will slaughter them if she doesn't sound on point on monday-tuesday... and basically no matter the excuses, if she cannot manage it, then they don't deserve a spot in the final...

Why even a girl singer? A young woman between the age of 23 to 28 who's a seasoned performer would have been the right choice.

I feel sadly confused bcs this positive energy in the song in not really transmitted thru her vocals. So sad for poor girl. Maybe too early for her.
My biggest irritation with this song is that LUM!X has basically nothing to do with this song 😀 He is one of five songwriters, so I doubt much of the song is written by him. So.... why is he there, besides to scream at me 😀? Well I am still fine with them progressing
Surely great staging and both look nice up on stage, but these lyrics are... they can't exchange the vocalist anymore and let the backing vocalists sing the whole thing, but maybe Austria could still qualify, if their backing vocalists are singing one chorus and some lines before or after ALONE with Pia Maria just lip syncing to it and then use that part in the recap. Really sad, bc this song could have qualified just by standing out as an uptempo song between so many downrtempo songs and ballads. All it took was too find an OK vocalist who could deliver the song on stage, a great one wasn't even needed, just a slightly above average one and it could have qualified. But nope, 3rd NQ in a row. Maybe Austria would find a better song and better vocalists next year.

DJ-led entries in Eurovision are always cursed with bad vocals - unless you're Jowst for Norway in 2017, for some reason. Heck, even I can sing this song better than Pia Maria, and I even I don't have singing experience!
