Perhaps no other bicycle manufacturer embodies the spirit of luxury quite like Festka. RUBBER N’ ROAD was invited to Festka’s main production facility in Prague, Czech Republic for an in-depth tour with co-founder Michael Moureček. In this video, Moureček shares the history of the brand, Festka’s lineup of carbon road and gravel bike models, and how Festka’s proprietary manufacturing process sets the brand apart.
To inquire about starting your Festka journey, email info@rubbernroad.com.
    HOW DID FESTKA GET STARTED?
Festka was founded in 2010 on co-founder Michael Moureček’s birthday when friend Ondřej Novotný challenged the duo to fabricate the highest quality performance bike possible. What began from a small makeshift workshop over a decade ago has evolved into a state-of-the-art facility with a team of expert craftspeople who's work is ridden on roads and trails across the globe.
    WHAT DOES FESTKA PRODUCE?
Festka produces performance road and gravel bicycles primarily from carbon fiber. The bicycle framesets are available in stock sizing or full custom geometry and are offered in a variety of paint schemes, from raw carbon understated designs to completely bespoke hand-painted works of art.
    WHY ARE FESTKA BIKES UNIQUE?
Festka bikes are produced entirely in the Czech Republic from Japanese carbon fiber. The bikes are made to order and each frame is crafted specifically to suit the rider’s needs and desires. The designs are created by Festka’s in-house Art Director and are hand painted in Czech Republic.
    HOW ARE FESTKA BIKES BUILT?
Unlike the design construction of mainstream bicycles such as the Specialized S-Works or Pinarello Dogma, who utilize a paper mache-like monocoque carbon fiber layup, Festka has championed a tube-to-tube construction that enables the brand to create custom sizing and tube shapes, and also enables Festka to repair a damaged frame at their facility to its original specifications and ride quality.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A FESTKA?
Once the deposit is received and the build order is signed off, the lead time for a Festka is approximately 6 months.
HOW CAN I ORDER A FESTKA?
Email info@rubbernroad.com to begin the process of ordering your Festka. Our team will reach out to you to determine the best Festka option to suit your needs. Throughout the process, our team will offer you uninhibited 1:1 concierge service to design your frame and select components from the ground up, carefully recommending each piece to suit your needs and budget.

This method isnot "new" stright carbon pipes and then joints. The quality is high, and detail is amazing. Older model of Colnago were done similar way. But is is not superior. Time brand is really different, by technologu, various materials used and quality.
