Only if there is a barrier. If the road is completely asphalt and flat, everyone stops. You can only continue moving if traveling in the opposite direction AND there is a physical barrier (grass, concrete curb, etc).

So if your lane is at all connected to the lane the bus is in, you stop. If theres any kind of gap or barrier dividing you then you don't stop
