- In today's video I will cover a newer mod for Minecraft that adds parasites and infection to Minecraft. The mod is called the Flesh that Hates, and is based off of an SCP, but functions very similarly to the mod Scape and Run. The link to download is below:

Our scope is to become of the best horror mods for newer versions in the future, we have some big plans that focus more on the existential horror of the mod rather than adding incredibly powerful enemies and stages. We want to distance from the rest of infection mods by cornering the player into actual insanity and not just to get instakilled by some weird creature, which is my main criticism with the rest of infections
Looks more disgusting than the parasites
I think scp 610 should propagate exponentially faster over time, it imo needs to be faster than fungal:spore, something more like from another world speed. Edit: I would like to see heart nest that allow them to propagate in the first place like we read in the addendums
@@Agent-Astro TFTH already propagates faster the more biomass, there is. Also, while we took inspiration in SCP 610, this is not 610
Btw escape and run parasite dev said he will port the mod to newer versions but he need to finish it on 1.12 .2 first

@@AlirezaVakili-pu3rj It is just a joke considering how long it has been in development and stuck on 1.12.2. I would not be surprised if it meets the same fate as Orespawn or YandereSim in which they are never finished or get cancelled due to the developers being controversial.

You should cover Fungal Infection: Spore and From Another World. Just like Flesh that Hates, they are available for current versions. However, they are a lot more balanced/fair for vanilla and vanilla+. So, no need to install 50+ additional OP/Cheap mods and editing their configuration for 2+ hours to guarantee more than 5 hours of playtime. Spore also has a decent amount of content despite being fairly new.

I really like that all of the new infection mods heavily improved on balance and game design, the places where SRP continues to fail horribly. From Another World even says that it has only been tested with vanilla and that players should report anything that seems unfair/cheap/unbalanced as bugs.@@OnMod

I am not the owner or a developer of either mods. You can ask for a Bedrock port on the mod pages, but I doubt that they will do it. The entire mods would need to be entirely re-done, because MInecraft Bedrock is coded in C++. @@foxlegend7373

A little tip - just like in "Scape & Parasites", that infection is HIGHLY flammable, so don't hesitate to use lava, burning arrows and other fire weapons, fire is also good to clear out leftover infected blocks after you kill the incubator, since all infected blocks become flammable and spread fire pretty fast, even if it's an infected stone bricks.
so this is the crimson counterpart of scape and run. finally, we have both the world types from terraria.

If You Want 2 (Or More) Viruses to Use in The Same World with The Flesh That Hates on 1.20, I Recommend The Sculk Horde, From Another World, And Fungal Infection: Spore. The Sculk Horde is a Hyper Intelligent Infection That Has to Be Awakened First by Going to 0,0,0. After Awakening It, The Surface Begins To Get Infected, And The Hive/Gravemind Can Grow Smarter and Smarter and Mark Certain Mobs/Players as Enemies, Such as Other Infections, And Send out Scouts to Inspect and See if They Should Raid Certain Areas. From Another World adds a Near Indestructible Alien That will Burrow into the ground and Appear in Random Places around The World to Infect Mobs/Attack Players. When Damaged by Fire it Will Retreat Into the Ground and Heal. Infected Mobs can Also Only Be Damaged by Fire. Fungal Infection: Spore Act's More Like the Original Scape and Run, Adding a Evolved Version of the Cordyceps Fungus, With Mobs That Can Call for Backup and Stick Together in Hordes. All 3 of These Mods also Have Compatibility with Each Other, Not Attacking Each other By Default, But Can Be Changed in the Config. They Will All Also Automatically Wage War on the Flesh. One More Thing, There Are Ways to Halt Most of These Mods, Like Destroying Sculk Nodes and Crafting Infection Purifiers, Trapping the Alien in Ice and Pistons or Powdered Snow to Freeze it Till Broken Out or Outright Killing it with Fire, If You Cab Get it In a Place where It Can't Escape, And Killing Flesh Incubators for The Flesh.
Welp, since this is 1.20.1, I can just pull up a Tremorzilla and cleanse the infection with radiation!
Orn burn it with dragon's fire, since Ice and Fire has been updated.

Looks fantastic, but I gave one question, does the incubator have a max size? I really want a parasite/infection mod in my survival modpack, but am not thrilled with the idea of having my entire world taken over because I didn't immediately deal with the infection. But if it claims like, 16 chunks for example and stays there, I'd be content. Great video, the mod looks fantastic, props to the devs of the mod

Unlike Enderman.exe, Sculk Enderman is actually fair/balanced, and it cannot spawn within five minutes of world creation.@@aarshir9500

Does only one incubator spawn naturally? And if killed there would be no more infection/incubators to spawn, that is if all the blocks are destroyed

The only problem i have with this mod is that the sheer number of entities it spawns always crashes my game at some point. Also, NEVER and i mean NEVER use this mod alongside sculk horde. I thought it would be cool to see these infection mods duke it out but for some reason it caused about 8000+ entities to spawn in the sculk infested area.
That should be reported immediately. Also, how did they not die from entity cramming if 8000+ mobs truly spawned? You could also request compatibility between Sculk and Flesh That Hates so that they do not attack each other. Just like how Sculk has compatibility with Spore and From Another World.
Does it work on mobile or laptop?
I feel like they evolve to fast. By day 10 everywhere I look I see a parasite and I can't even leave my base. The hordes mod didn't help either.

Hey onmod please fix the 1.18.2 version of the cursed walking modpack. The lag is insane in the nether, its not an frames issue but when I try to break blocks they spawn back and it takes around 1 min to teleport back to the overworld in the nether portal

i have a question, i want to make a modpack with an infested dimension but dont know how to blacklist this mod in the overworld
what do i put into the config file to blacklist the flesh in the overworld so it wont spawn here but in the lost cities instead

what about fungal infection spore? i feel like that gave the same feel, for me at least.
He will cover it soon. I also get more of a Last of Us/vanilla+ feeling from Spore. Since the mod is clearly inspired by the game, and it expands on a vanilla concept, Mycelium as opposed to creating a crossover between Minecraft and an already existing character.

Wdym unstable? I’m playing on a MacBook and it works fine other than the random crash every now and then
@@planti61 for me the most random of mods just break, like presence footsteps and sound physics remastered work together fine for me on fabric, but completely break on forge, or how in some random ass way TDE breaks my modpack aswell. And if it does work I’m met with tonnes of crashes
@@basic6735 wait you’re probably onto something… do other versions work fine for you? My forge has recently been crashing A LOT and some of my worlds get corrupted as well for no reason

he didn't make the mod, and it will never come out on mobile due to Minecraft mods being java only, Minecraft PE is bedrock edition.
Mods do exist for Bedrock, but they are nowhere near as high quality as the Java ones. They also either only work on Mobile or Windows 10, or need to be bought as a microtransaction.@@Noobyplayzgames
