I heard this when I was in 7th grade in cathotlic school, my life was never the same again. I fell in love with the album with all the remakes. Rented his autobiography from the public library and I was intrigued to find out how likable he is as a person. Love you Mr Marilyn Manson!
He's fucking amazing live. I'm not a huge fan but I saw him at a festival a couple of years ago and he was the consummate professional- had the audience eating out of his hand. Costume and scenery changes were completely seamless. The whole show was choreographed better than any other I've seen- but there again I mainly go to see bands like GWAR and Slayer which don't tend to be about the stage show so much.

Once you get into his music, the instrumentation is intricate, the lyrics are thoughtful, and of course it's just damn fun to listen to. Serious talent to the videos, too, if a bit (okay a LOT) twisted and dark.
Despite the controversy, I'm still a Marilyn Manson fan and I have been since I was a little girl. Most people would probably be scared of his aesthetic and music but I'm not. I get him. I'm just a plain Jane black woman from the south but I relate to him is some ways. He's awesome to me.

He's fucking amazing live. I'm not a huge fan but I saw him at a festival a couple of years ago and he was the consummate professional- had the audience eating out of his hand. Costume and scenery changes were completely seamless. The whole show was choreographed better than any other I've seen- but there again I mainly go to see bands like GWAR and Slayer which don't tend to be about the stage show so much.
