- Hey everyone! This is the second in a series of videos we will be providing for beginner players. I've had a lot of students mention their trouble with tuning before they started regular HG lessons, so me and Max figured it would be a good idea to produce a set of videos with step-by-steps that can help everyone. If you like this video and want to know more, subscribe and then you'll get notifications on the next one. We will be going through everything from the basics beginner level hurdy-gurdy startup stuff all the way to music theory, sight reading, and more!
If you have any thing in particular that YOU want to see or have explained - leave us a comment on that. Wooo!

This is an awesome video. Now all I need is a hurdy-gurdy.
Loved this! so excited to go through all of these.
Thank you! The next one is coming out soon!
This is so incredibly helpful, thank you! I have access to a hurdy gurdy through my school (I’m a grad student in music), but there’s no hurdy hurdy teacher, so this is all wonderful and clear and helpful, thank you!
Excellent, I am so glad it's helpful!! Stay tuned for the next video.
Thank you for this. Just go my gurdy and I'm just starting out. I Plan on requesting some lessons this year and hopefully attending a retreat.
You're welcome Matt! We just filmed the next installment in the series only moments ago, so the 3rd video will be coming in the next couple of days. We also just got the updated pricing from Geneva Point Center for the retreat in August, so the registration information will be coming out later this week as well!
This video has the exact information I needed. This style of tutoring is what I need to get progressing with the gurdy. Thank you so much!
I admit I snapped a melody string last year... got new ones
