Agreed. He was so good-looking, too. And his character was a genuinely nice, likable character. I too wish they had shown us CJ getting his happily ever after...there was so much more they could've written for him at this time...

That, or they should have just all stayed at their bungalow. They could just make another trip to St. Thomas in the future when the kids are a bit older and show their kids that special beach then.

Deacon's stepdad is basically the writers giving us an insight into Deacon's destructive inner monologue. That is his only purpose.

Its because of the stepdad acting. He cant handle all this creepiness.
I don't Like Brooke AT ALL and I DON'T LIKE that she betrayed Bridget by sleeping with Deacon
But as handsome as Deacon was I can see where the temptation was. If he looks tempting to us women that have morals and values imagine how tempting he is to someone like Brooke.
I am not defending Brooke I'm just saying that Deacon has that Whip Appeal that singer Babyface used to sing about

The writers could easily have had Brooke and Thorne joining TRIDGE on their trip to St. Thomas. Then they still could have just filmed some scenes of Thorne and Brooke in the -bugalow- bedroom and it wouldn't have interfered with the drama SL either.

Wtf lol it is horrible what deacon went through with this man but I wish it could have been a lesson to him to not end in bad situations like him like for example Stephanie grew up in an abusive household and while at first she could have treated Kristen better and her and Felicia had their moments back then she did become a better mom over time and tried to protect her family if deacon just thought of little Eric and getting himself together without getting mixed up with Brooke and others relationships he would get a little more sympathy
I think Deacon’s father was miscast. He’s just not really intimidating despite the attempts to chew all the scenery.
