I’m so glad you played these two together. Properly played, guys. Can’t have one without the other.
Right on @SteveMay
Hot,Blue&Righteous the
Most unknown blues tune ever
The blues is alive and dirty in Lexington, Kentucky!
was on deck grilling the ribeyes..and digging the tunes..and the tracks ended..and i said..where is Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers track?..then i recalled i am on YT..and not my CD..cannot get much better praise than that..
There are a lot of Coverbands around the world! Theiß one is on top of the world! I am 70 and from Germany, stay healthy, stay tuned!
Gotta love guys that have the balls to play ZZ on Strats! I always said, it's the player, not the instrument
Strats were not foreign territory for Billy.
And a Squire on top of that!
Exactly. I have one like his but play a real Gibson
that bass line just growls its way into my soul
I was waiting at the bus all day for this banger! Crushed it!
Hell yes! Great cover. I like that you DIDN’T try and sound like Billy Gibbons vocals. Make the song your own.
Best version of this song on all of CZcams. AmazingTalent .
Classic, Timeless & Raw! I've never in my life heard someone say they didn't like ZZ Top! You guys killed it on this! Love Nick's vocals and the musicianship in this band always blows me away! Blow that harp son!
i went in thinking yeah here's where yall fall off the wagon. nope. killed it.
rockin the squier!
Nice scratchplate on the white strat
Yep .. “Rockin’ the Squire” .. my 1st “stratlike” (got a “real” Strat later) bought cheap at a pawnshop .. spent hours fixing the setup (nut/action/intonation/neck (lotsa love)) .. it plays surprising well .. I even like the weird sound of the cheap pickups & low density/lightweight Alder body thru footpedal effects .. still play it as my practice guitar out in the man cave .. 15 years and still going ...
After watching Lexington lab band, they inspired me to pick up the guitar again and learn to play, thanks very much for the inspiration
Texas has a sound
You folks do great justice to this tune!!!
Thank you -)
This cover only emphasizes the greatness of the 3 man band from Texas / Great job
dude rockin the Squier.....nice
Yea! Takin care of business. ( Is his name)
I'm running out of superlatives for your awesomeness🤣! The ZZ Top covers were all insanely good!!!
Wow, you guys nailed that song. Such a great job.
Did some serious justice to these songs woot nice job
Have mercy.....I've been shopp'n for Lakeland basses all day...........Have mercy.......I ain't got no money to pay! hahahahaha! Killer grooves!
This particular Lakland is the best playing/sounding bass I’ve ever owned.
@@LexingtonLabBand Awesome!
Good JOB you all. Great...
GREAT GUITAR SOLO
So fine! That Little 'OL Band from Texas! Keep 'em comin'!
RIP Dusty
''Have Mercy!''
Darn good.
Wow what great FEEL!
I love playing these two songs, such fun
OMG! You guys did Billy F'in Gibbons proud with this one! That's hard to do.......
I never knew these song titles, but I sure recognize the sounds. Great job, guys, especially the mellower-looking guitarist who dished it out when his turn came.
Speaking of Chicago! Would love to see/hear ya'll play some with your great horn section
Awesome
great job on this one, Lagrange cosi cosi1
Wow, somehow I missed this one. Absolutely fantastic.
Playing this thru a Hartke combo amp, HAVE MERCY!!! Get this show on the road peeps.
Better keep from fire extinguishers all around the stage with all of those hot licks you are laying down !
Love it 😎
I can’t believe this has only 53k views. People are missing out. Fine job especially the Gibbons like solos from both pickers.
Yes! Yes! and Yes! Wow! Great job covering one of my fav ZZ Top songs...fantastic guitar work and gritty vocals!! Great stuff LLB!!

I rocked my house with this one☺️ Needs more sunglasses. Just to mention; the lighting on the TOTO set was phenomenal. PHENOMENAL!
Stunning as always and again, from my favorite ZZ albums. Spot on and Beard on!

Awesome guys and love the vocals! Great job!
Hell yeah!!!
Think I need a shirt like the drummer has, love Gram Parsons.
Hot Burrito #1 cover perhaps?
I glad there is another GP fan out there
@@jefftipton2470 the man is not appreciated enough. Funny thing, I didn’t realize The Black Crowes covered so many of his songs.
Great
Tres Hombres , Brothers!!
Love it
Oh Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smokin', dudes!
nick bernard, one of my favorites!
Oh yeah.RIP MR . HILL
Xcellent!
From the time I heard Just Got Paid Today on Rio Grande Mud I was hooked on ZZ Top so I absolutely love these covers. The youth movement is alive & well with Nick, Austin, & Oliver. Jeff is great as always and ever since I heard Vandee play bass on the Steely Dan covers I was convinced that may be his best instrument. Austin on harmonica...now if I only see him playing an accordion I would be convinced he can play as many different instruments as Vandee.
Well that was fun!
🤘🏻 JJLC in standard tuning 👏🏻
Hats off to the young man playing the Squier Strat, it sounds as good as its cousin. I wonder if he replaced the pickups or are they stock?
Outstanding
Somebody hand that man an SG fer God's sake.
Thank You for waking up my subwoofer and letting it speak.
Awesome .. way to test out my newly restored ‘84 Cerwin Vega D5s ...
wow. haven't heard that in 30 years or more. had them reconed?
Woofer cones & voice coils were good (midrange & tweeters we’re good) .. refoamed the woofer surrounds and recapped the crossovers ...
You guys KILL It....
Awesome brother s
RIP Dusty Hill
Yeah !!! 👍👍
Very well done, lads! 👍🏻🙏🏻
You guys play partys? You're tge greatest cover band ever. Way better than my old band thats's for sure
We do not tour
Ok you guys are gettin down now!!!!!
I had a born again christian neighbour earlier in my life and he would always say Jesus was coming back some day and I'd have my comeback in my back pocket . He just left Chicago and is bound for New Orleans lol
As always, spot on. This isn't a costume band but in the case of ZZ Top, did you have to fight the urge to wear fake beards?
Ha!
On other versions of this song, the harmonica solo is sorely missing Good Job!
Knowing where the Reverend Willy G grew up, I've driven past that bus stop thousands of times. 😏
Love to hear you guys do Pablo cruise..maybe you have?
Nailed it, and what a fat tone on the strats, the red strat had an insane tone, what amp/module used?
Helix direct
Wow, that's impressive
Vande is just munching the bass, and who is that cat on lead?
Again with the Squier!! How???
Has anyone seen my socks? They just BLEW OFF !!
Where do you film all these great videos?
Nice!!!!
😎😎😎
