Viewing this, I find that I miss Bob Bellah, who died four years ago this past summer. He was a great scholar and teacher, and, as so many people have said before me, a truly good man.
But where's the stuff about religion? I thought the book was about the evolutionary origins of religion, but I don't recall him talking at all about religion as a natural phenomenon at all...
