First ride with the Maxxis Crossmark tires, great tyre for an all-round bike. fast on tarmac, and very good grip off-road. conclusion: it feels fast and alive
It states the maximum psi is 65. I mostly ride mixed terrain of tarmac, gravel and more rocky stuff and I've been using 45psi rear and 40psi front with good results
At first I was reluctant about its performance on asphalt, I do some road too and I was looking for a "jack of all trades" tyre. It performs better than I expected, its central knobs do a great job on this. Of course It will never beat a slick tyre
I like how it performs on wet tarmac and off-road, it clears mud pretty well and it offers decent control on muddy terrain, not as well as a more knobby tire, but very acceptable
Pretty good on road for that type of tyre, the only downside is it will wear quicker by riding a lot on tarmac, but that's common on every knobby tyre anyway
Totally agree with your review
Thank you! ✌️
Love these tires on and off road fast rolling on pavement
Me too, nice grip on cornering and fast rolling. It's a good do-it-all tire
Yeah, i lov that kind of tire, from philppines
I'm near the point of switching tyres front to rear to wear evenly, I believe they will get even faster on tarmac
Is this the Maxxis Crossmark EXC Folding Bead Tire, 27.5 x 2.1-Inch?

It's the rigid Maxxis Crossmark 26 x 2.1 in
What's the suggested psi if you use it mostly on road?

Are those tyres fast on asfalt?
